  1. Ben was super impressive. Didn't give up a hit, and only one walk. His ERA is 1.82 now.
  2. Yes, I know, just a little, though, comparing to earlier in the season. He'll start hitting again.
  3. Thank you for answering my question.😄 You remembered much better than I did.
  4. What did JD say, right before the HR? Seiya is great.
  5. I don't mind to keep Seiya for 3 more seasons, after this year, but I'm not sure about 4 years. Seems like he's still improving. I would take 2 years for Happ, too. But, not both of them. The thing is that they seem to be the best OFs available in the next FA. Aside from Skubal, Shota is also one of the best SPs. I like to keep Shota for 2 more years, too. If we lose him, we would have Cabrera, Rea, Assad, Brown, Steele + whoever we get before the TDL or in the winter. We don't even know how good Steele will be. If we can get a non-rental TOR guy, that would be the best.
  6. If Ben can improved his changeup, he could be really good.
  7. PCA and Bregman are the only guys with wRC+ below 100. That's pretty amazing. Bregman needs to start hitting, though. Shota is #8 in the latest power ranking.
  8. I thought it's funny to look for somebody who sucks for longer innings.😄 But, I hear you. Our bullpen situation is really tough now. Boyd's injury is causing more trouble than I initially thought.
  9. Yes, if they pitch well. I guess that's my main concern. If they do, they could pitch 6 innings or even 7 innings between the two. Ben has 3 days and Assad has only 2 days rest. So, like I said, we'll see.
  10. I think so, too. If we can get 6 innings from them, that would be nice. We'll see.
  11. Phew. Shota didn't have his command right in the 6th. Overall, he was great. His 4 seam velo is down a little, two games in a row. This should be an easy game to win now.
  12. I always liked Ben, and I still do.😄 But, I didn't like Conforto. Now, I like him.
  13. I owe him an apology for saying something like I don't wanna see this guy again. Sorry. It was in March.
  14. Thank you, Shota for accepting the QO, and thanks, Marlins for the Cabrera trade.
  15. Bullpen looks tough, if Ben is going to start tomorrow. Hopefully, Shota will pitch at least 6 innings.
  16. I had to do some research. Here's what I found. Three consecutive walk-off wins in MLB is extremely rare, marking a historic event when it occurs. In 151 seasons of Cubs history, for instance, they have only achieved three straight walk-offs against the same team once (May 2026).
  17. And, the prophet inside of me tells me that we will win tomorrow with Shota starting!
