The concerning part to me is that the tendonitis keeps lingering and that’s an issue that is difficult to get rid of. It requires rest, so there’s no pitching thru it and no real timetable. You just return when the symptoms subside. That it keeps reappearing suggests this is something he may have problems with for the remainder of his career. Unless a pre-start routine can be implemented to lessen the strain on his elbow.
I have both the Darwin Barney bobblehead and replica Gold Glove trophy that were promotional giveaways around 2013. No idea what I will do with either of them. lol
Yes, many times. I suppose it’s just me in my medical brain nitpicking here. Tendonitis isn’t always accompanied by significant pain. In a thread discussing the possibility of Tommy John surgery, it’s important to distinguish the difference between tendonitis that simply requires rest and more severe elbow pain that could suggest a ligament tear and the possibility of a season ending injury.
We all have a different idea of what being a fan looks like, where we draw the line for our support, or if there is even a line at all. There is no right, wrong, or idiotic when it comes to being a fan.
Tendonitis requires rest and can remedy itself with the aid of anti-inflammatory treatments. Pain is an entirely separate and more concerning issue. However, I have only read that this is tendonitis and nothing more.
6’5” if my memory serves me right. I know he didn’t justify the contract but I have loved Heyward since his time with the Braves. Great person and he was a stud in RF.
