  1. At this point I want to see Caissie come up push Happ to the bench.
  2. The weak bench has finally caught up with this team. Tucker, PCA, Seiya have all played nearly everyday.
  3. Mental fatigue would be my guess. Even the best athletes will at some point always revert back to old, bad habits.
  4. You often hear fans say, "those were my Cubs" and for each person, that phrase captures something uniquely personal. For me growing up, my Cubs were Sandberg, Dunston, Dawson, and Grace. They defined my childhood love of baseball and filled it with memories and joy at a time when life was just about living in the present moment and soaking it all in with wide wondrous eyes. That's why saying goodbye to sports heroes hurts so much. It's a reminder of how deeply sports and the athletes we grow up admiring and wanting to be like can be intertwined with our identities and childhood memories, and how the end of an era can feel like the loss of a piece of ourselves. Thanks for everything, Ryno!
  5. Love you, Ryno.
  6. Even with a healthy Steele, the rotation is very good, but there isn’t a guy that other teams look at and say we’ve gotta get this game because X is on the mound tomorrow. I want that guy.
  7. Y’know what, I’m down with it. I believe in Jed Hoyer. 👏🏻👏🏻 I believe in Jed Hoyer.
  8. Boog was a big change from what we previously had with Len and even Chip before him. I wasn’t a big fan of the comedy stuff but over the years he has grown on me considerably.
  9. Earlier in the game he explained that an MLB season is 162 games. 😐
  10. Cohen is terrible. I dislike him in the booth as much as I did Vosters for Hawks games.
  11. I’m convinced Boog is a troll who lives under the RF bleachers and occasionally comes out to call a game.
  12. Blackhawks and Arvid Söderblom agree on a two-year extension to avoid arbitration. His cap hit will be $2.75m.
