you're right no way any of this gets back to the players he's sending a message to the players to pick it up and refocus on hitting Yes, lack of focus is what kept those balls from landing on the ground instead of in gloves. That's the ticket! You're making this all about one game. The issue isn't about bad luck last night. It's that this offense hasn't been great for the last 1.5 months and hasn't been anything special on the road all year long. We've seen weak pitching the first four games after the break and the results have been terrible. It's reasonable to be frustrated and vent in this situation.

yeah that was not a real good decision by Lou, imo. I don't have a problem with it. It was obviously just for one batter. Young looked bad against him and wasn't likely to have a deep count. It was 5 additional pitches. -
What the hell is "Black Heart Gold Pants"? Certainly there's trouble and this entire thing is a mess. However I need to find out more facts before saying certain people need to be fired. I still can't figure out why the victim and her family went to the athletic department rather than the authorities.

Well the tips I read worked fairly well off the range after some adjustment. My front shoulder was coming too far open off the drives and when I focus on doing the "hand clap" a time or two before I swing, I'm staying closed and hitting it pretty straight. Need to pick up some new balls and am thinking about the Top Flite D2's. I know a lot of people refuse to play "Rock Flite" but these seem way different. Played one of my buddy's D2 Feel's on a couple holes and they're far from the old Top Flite's. Very soft and on my approach shots they would either check nicely and even got some backspin a couple of times which is rare for me. They're only $15 for 15 so it's a very good ball for the price. Anyone played these? Not sure if I want to get the "Feel" or "Distance".

I was thinking the same thing. Hopefully for his sake he gets a chance in the 14th, although I don't want him up there. Good job Carmel. Getting out of this may help regain some confidence.
