  1. I think Kerry Wood doesn't like Sosa (wasn't he the one who smashed Sammy's boombox?) I think this is a big part of the problem.
  2. This season has been crazy.
  3. ESPN is airing a documentary about the Hillsborough disaster tonight at 8 ET. The snippet I saw today was fantastic.
  4. MLB executive says games should be seven innings.
  5. Awful. Why is it so hard for the USSF to design and use a reasonable kit?
  6. A: M. Cabrera B: J. Bruce and Y. Cespedes C: F. Freedman, G. Stanton, and M. Napoli D: Y. Puig, A. Pujols, B. Phillips, B. Posey, and A. Ethier WC: Pm'ed Picking a wildcard was a pain in my ass. I guess it would help to follow baseball more closely.
  7. Pic or it didn't happen. On my Facebook already, but I value my privacy more than your opinion, sorry man. That's a shame... My opinion is held in the highest regard. Would you like access to my facebook page? No Kukoc pics but I was on the front page of the Trib once. http://i276.photobucket.com/albums/kk31/acandyrose/stacypeterson09/Stacy_Peterson_File-1669-Chicago-1.jpg
  8. I thought it was somebody from the Sun-times that outed Bartman. All I know about Kass is he had a video on the tribune about making beer can chicken, which is very good, and he sounds like a couple of my uncles. Somebody from the Sun Times did out his name, I'm pretty sure, but Kass was the one who immediately went up to him (he was seated in the same area) and said, "Do you realize what you've just done, man??!" or something like that Wait late on this, but yes that was Kass. He's a [expletive] hack.
  9. Plenty of good seats available for opening day, the Yankees and White Sox series.
  10. This has the potential to be pretty cool from ESPN: http://www.nytimes.com/2014/03/09/sports/soccer/watching-the-us-team-closely-yet-respectfully.html
  11. The clip is 1000x better with Len and Bob's commentary.
  12. The NFL is full of them. And he's also really good. I hate Pete Carroll, but I wanted Seattle to win. I like it when the usual suspects aren't in the SB. Okay, Sherman really is a piece of work. Wow. you've seen interviews like that after someone makes a game-saving play to send his tam to the super bowl? i don't think there are words for that kind of jackass. i have to say that i AM really interested in what's going on at the da bum's house right now. can we unban him for tonight? No twitter death threats as of 9:04 pm.
  13. This game is great.
  14. Offseason might be tough, but he's been glorious the last month or so.
  15. http://bit.ly/KX3Czf Mooney is reporting Cubs are looking into working with Fox to create their own network by 2020.
  16. This is the guy who made a makeshift ice rink in his backyard And does an impression of everyone doing an impression of everyone doing an impression of Ryan Dempster doing an impression of Will Ferrell doing an impression of Harry Caray.
  17. Woo hoo! I hate this time of year until spring training. At least we have the Cubs Convention coming up for a quick reprieve of propoganda. After that come the dog days until those first ST pics. Holy hell, the convention; what the [expletive] is even going to be the big event/unveiling? Wrigley Field's 100th anniversary
  18. Seems like a fair and responsible deal for the Bears.
  19. How's Matt Miller's draft stuff on Bleacher Report?
  20. pftcommenter was a the best thing on the internet in 2013.
  21. This makes the most sense, and is also entirely avoidable. I'm not sure if they checked out of one coverage and into another on the 4th and 8, but they were also late to adjust on another important play earlier in the game. On that one, Corey Wootten was still in his stance a good full second after Rodgers received the ball. Was that the one where the LBs were all hitting their helmets indicating coverage changes and out of position when the ball was snapped? I think that was a 3rd down and luckily Rodgers overthrew his guy in the end zone. Ye that was it, the helmet tap is an audible call.
