    Yea, this might be good news, its hard to say yet, but ESPN's coverage has been top notch. Ultimately, all of the games need to be on networks that are available on most satellite/cable providers. Edit: Though I do like Grant Wahl's idea of having Gus Johnson involved in the broadcasts.

    I'm surprised that Epstein's analytical, statistics based approached would fit with Sandberg's old thyme managerial style.

    Someone mentioned how pissed MLB and Selig were when A-Rod (through Boras, no doubt) leaked his opt-out decision during a decisive game of the World Series a few seasons ago. At this point in the "Epstein to Chicago" story, there really aren't any surprises. When this gets announced, it will be a formality as the story has already made its way through a week's worth of news cycles. There isn't much else to say about it that's going to steal the thunder of the World Series, at least on a national level. I'm not doubting it gets announced on Tuesday, but the shock of the story has already happened.

    This is greatest thread in the history of NSBB. Soriano flipping off the Native Americans on the Trail of Tears had me in tears (again). Tis but a pale homage to doggydaddy and his irrational hatred of Todd Walker preformed by IMB and tree. I'm open for that possibility if anybody has a link to the thread.
