  2. Did the store only have enough bright green sod for the center then? I just go off of what Buck said
  3. BOOO! It will settle down. BTW, the enitre field was resodded. THey sodded the middle before the last game and then redid the whole thing for today
  4. Good morning all! Everyone here ready to cry?!? :)
  5. BOOO!!! Go Loan Consultant Pete Hunter!
  6. Wow. And people say that there is no optimism on this board! Hey, I will be the first to admit that the Bears are a better team on Paper. At the beginning of the season I would have disagreed but with all the injuries this season, I am just happy that they made the playoffs. To think that a O-line that had been together for nearly 2 full seasons last year went to a line where 3 of the starters are replaced and the line hasn't been the same for any game this year. Then add to it that the starting RB, QB, DT, DL, both corners and WR have missed significant time, the Seahawks have had a pretty good season. To grade a team on who they beat and who they lose to is akin to using wins soley to judge a pitcher on. The NFL is different from week to week and is never a fact as to future performance. If the Seahawks beat the Chargers would that have given them some added "cred"? I think that this is going to be a better game then expected. The Seattle Defense has plenty of playmakers up front when given the proper motiviation. Remember the Monday nighter in Oakland? I expect Julien Peterson to have a huge game and remind people of Merriman.
  7. what ever happened to the bill that forced broadcasters to set up ala cart packages where you choose the channels you want.
  8. Trufant was to play in the 2nd round if the Seahawks were to advance. DJack was "out" most of last week too. And Hacket was Questionable all week. I think that this is too soon to make injury assumptions 6 days out. I like the Bears matchup better then the Saints. The speed on D from the Seahawks is a good matchup for the saints but with the secondary beat up I think that we can get better pressure on Grossman and force bad decisions.
  9. has anyone been able to buy it yet? I got this for Christmas
  10. Here I am to Save the Day!
  11. ok everyone, I'm back!!! And VERY excited. The Seahawks actually won! WOOO!!! And I am very happy to be going to Chicago as opposed to N.O. I think that this game will be better then the one during the season. The secondary is a concern but Trufant is likely back and Jennings played out of his mind. BTW, the guy that you are talking about is Pete Hunter who did not play all last season and is a nickel back. Our secondary didn't do too bad from what I saw. But then again, i was in Mexico this weekend so who knows what I saw :) Anyone have an extra ticket for the game? Maybe I will fly there!
  12. I like your thinking Truffle!~
  13. NOT WORTH IT. Z is great and all and a fabulous Cub and pitcher but no pitcher is worth this kind of contract.
  14. Of course, over the past 10 years, the Bears have had an equally good team from year to year. Of course a bad team is going to be bad whatever the weather is - and the Bears have been bad for a majority of the past 10 years. Remember the NW is getting hit with huge weather issues since November and Seattle has played the last half of the season in pretty poor weather. I am trying for anything here guys! Give me some glimmer of hope!
  15. Ok. What about a 20-6 halftime score and an opening drive TD by the Bears to start the 3rd quarter says that the Seahawks were in that game? I'm not disputing that the Bears aren't likely to beat Seattle as bad as 37-6 if they played again, but Seattle was never in that game, and has to be a longshot, at best at this point, to beat the Bears. A 2 TD lead is not much with another half to go. IIRC the Bears had just scored on the way to the locker room too. Also the TD in the 3rd qtr is when i indicated that the seahawks gave up
  16. I know that the Seahawks are stinking up the joint, but they put up a pretty good showing vs the best team in the NFL. stupid 30 seconds. Anywho, I think that they are just on fumes and coasting. I would doubt that they lose at home in the playoffs and are guranteed a home game now. So likely they beat Dallas (VERY Plausible) and move on to face the Bears in all liklihood assuming that Philly beats NY or GB. I would imagine that a different team shows up against the Bears. We would likely have a better line assembled and have Alexander back. The defense would not give up in the 2nd half. If you remember, the Seahawks were actually in the game in the 3rd quarter but seemed to give up in the middle. That would leave a Seattle/Saints NFC Championship matchup. In the dome, the Seahawks will be able to match the team speed of the Saints but they will be hard pressed to stop the run.
  17. I will be back. We need to reidentify ourselves though!
