Cubs fan in San Diego. I don't see the Padres moving on from either of those two, due to Musgrove probably missing all of next year. They will jettison the injured Ha Seong Kim, tho. He is a free agent and it seems weird to extend him when they don't want to expand the payroll. I don't see how much they can do, as they can't lose pitching -- they will not catch the Dodgers if they do. Their payroll problems are looming, and with less TV revenue the ownership group will not want to continue to spend. If Peter Seidler was still alive, he would still authorize Preller to do...anything. But that's not the case any more.
