  1. A couple days ago everyone was hoping for a top-7 pick. Now everyone is punching air over a series we can still take 3 out of 4 in.
  2. Pro Football Hall of Famer, Chicago native, and life-long Cubs fan Mary Levy is celebrating his 99th birthday today! 🥳
  3. That was awesome! One of the best moments from these games.
  4. Mozeliak's mismanagement of his assets has been a beautiful thing to watch. Their rotation is still reeling from trading Gallen and Alcantara for two years of Ozuna.
  5. Léon Marchand takes another gold. We are witnessing the birth of an Olympic legend at these games. The admiration he's received from Phelps is very cool to see. Also seems like a humble kid.
  6. Bethancourt reminding us what it's like to have a catcher that can throw out baserunners.
  7. Nothing looked overtly vicious. She walked into a right. That seemed to be the punch that convinced her to quit. It appears she has since apologized for her behavior and issued an apology to Khelif.
  8. Understandable, man. Unfortunately, we live in a world where it's quite easy to be misled for a number of reasons. Even our own news sources jump the gun. I have a connection to the boxing world. I'm not that Tank, but one of my closest friends is a female professional boxer and this situation has been one that I have kept an eye on. It's frustrating that no one can seem to provide a definitive answer as to who Imane Khelif is.
  9. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-UODbCWq7OM Here is a great video of a doctor explaining dsd as it relates to this boxing situation.
  10. Why do the patches have to be so unnecessarily big?
  11. O'Neill is strictly a preference. I love lineup versatility. Similar if not slightly better bat than Seiya and a better defender and baserunner. Suzuki's peripherals are admittedly better than I initially thought. I wouldn't deal PCA either.
  12. I can't envision a change coming to the infield next year with the emergence of Busch at first. Unpopular opinion, but Suzuki has always been my preference to upgrade. A dream scenario for me is both Soto and O'Neill. C- Amaya 1B- Busch 2B- Hoerner 3B- Paredes SS- Swanson LF- Happ CF- Bellinger RF- Soto DH- O'Neill
  13. Pete Crow-Armstrong. When he's at his best, there is nobody more exciting to watch on the team. I'm also a sucker for a great glove.
  14. I had the same thought when I heard the news. Correct me if I'm wrong, but wasn't Stan also touted as the "capologist" that was going to balance the team's cap issues when he was promoted?
  15. Every Olympics! And I still can't get into it.
  16. Hi everybody. Long-time lurker. Finally decided to jump into the water. I've spent the last 15-20 minutes looking for the appropriate place to introduce myself and couldn't find it, so I hope here is okay.
