    If only Kyle Tucker was put on the IL one of the two times he was playing injured instead of letting him aggravate the horsefeathers out of his injuries and putting him on the IL in the last two weeks of the season. Thank you Craig Counsell and Jed Hoyer. Brilliant!

    For stat heads out there, that stat that this years Mets have the most HR’s in Mets team history is incorrect. The current team (215) is fourth on the list behind 2016 (218), 2017 (224) and 2019 (242).

    I did the that in 2016 when the division was clinched in the middle of September. But these days I feel like it’s a waste of money, as I’ve paid for MLB.TV, if I don’t watch as many games as possible. So I am watching horsefeathers Baseball. Do I hate myself? Probably.

    Nico Hoerner has quietly put together a great year. No one has said “Wow! What a great year he’s having.”. You’d think he hasn’t put together the best year on his own Baseball team, let alone in the NL. Top 6 is NL WAR, all positions (hitters and pitches). Top 4 in NL WAR (position players), tied with Soto and 0.1 behind Ohtani. Third in NL WAR for defensive players. Second in batting average in the NL.
