Craig Counsell has a contract until the end of 2028. Fire him, and he either has his full contract paid by the Cubs if he isn’t hired by a different club. Or, he finds another managerial job and the Cubs split the cost with his new club. He’s not getting fired.

I can’t wait for the day Jed Hoyer is in the booth with JD and Boog, and waffles on about the latest bobblehead giveaway and how fun Gallagher Way is. You know, the stuff we are all waiting to hear as disgruntled baseball fans.

Of all the sports to have an interest in, horsefeathers Baseball. I am even from a country where this stupid sport is ranked behind Lawn Bowls, whatever the hell “Raygun” did at the Olympics and tenpin bowling in terms of popularity. This really can’t be good for my long term health. Anyway, see you all tomorrow.
