None of them needed to take PED’s. They were all HOF’ers before cheating and they all wanted a leg up on the competition as if their talent wasn’t enough. I have absolutely no sympathy for any of the greats not in the HOF because of cheating.

The playoffs were always in 7-10 months before a WC tournament (except the last WC which was held in December and the playoffs were in June of the same year). But I think because there is just so much football now (Nations League started in September 2018) and the WC has expanded to 48 teams, there are just too much International matches happening at the same time. Either an International break will have nations league matches (where WC qualifiers used to go) or WC qualifiers.

I would have posted sooner but for some reason my password to NSB wasn’t working and the reset password tab in Diamond Centric wasn’t doing either for days, until now. Anyway… Happy retirement, Kyle! He will always be a Baseball legend as a World Series champion. But to do it with the historically unsuccessful Chicago Cubs just makes it all the more special. Getting his 100th win this year bookends his career. -
If you’re the Colorado Rockies and you’re going to hire someone from a different sport to run baseball operations, then it makes complete sense that the person is coming from the Rockies NFL equivalent.
