I was just thinking the other day. That's a guy I'd trade Horton + for in a heartbeat. He really is that special and something that I think should interest both teams, the Mets don't have a lot of pitching but they have a new GM that really wants young pitching

Why does every athlete have a terrible podcast

game over

The Cubs getting BORP production from Hendricks rest of way would be a nice little boost

Amaya is foul in every way, a literal 0 tool player that should be in Triple AAA, but that was a nice AB

haha same old LOSERS can't even hit it out of the infield on a windy day

Nico is so overrated.

In case anybody was wondering, the Cubs have only scored 10+ runs twice all season long, and not since April 16th. Without major changes, and quickly, this could be a historically bad offense.

I thought that when the Cubs got Craig Counsell, they would explore creative solutions to win games, especially in 1-run games. 1. Why didn't the Cubs explore Ben Brown at closer or high leverage relief, despite him having prototypical stuff for that type of role? Even if you think he is a starter in the long-run, why not give it a shot when the bullpen was so putrid for a long time and Brown was riding the bench 4-5 days in a row at the time? And at that time, Wesneski was actually dominating a few starts as a Starter, yet you throw him back into the bullpen and now 1 is injured and the other sucks? 2. Tyson Miller has been like the best reliever since he has put on a Cubs uniform, why do we keep seeing Wesneski/Neris instead of him? 3. Why hasn't Canario been given an extended run at DH or as a contributor? Instead they opt for career journeymen like Madrigal and Wisdom? It makes no horsefeathers sense especially if they thought Busch could play 2nd base on occasion..which he has. At least Canario can run into a home run every now and then and also is young enough where you can see some potential. WTF does Wisdom provide? 4. What value does that smug punk Carter Hawkins provide? Go find a real executive that knows what he's doing, he's turned this organization into the 2021 Guardians. I haven't heard 1 word from that bum during this 6 week stretch of misery, but he will certainly show up when things are going well

Amaya should never play for this horsefeathers team again

This team is so horsefeathers gutless

haha

Cubs really need Steele to step up tomorrow against Logan Webb, go get that 1st win of the year and build some momentum

...Even they can hold onto this lead, right?

this team is so unlikeable

If they actually blow it again today, may need to take a few days break from this team

We deserve this pain

Wesneski is a horsefeathers SCRUB

PCA is a hell of a defender, runner, bunter, all around baseball player. He still hits like a child but starting to see the hype and the upside..

And constipation

I hate this team where was this yesterday?

lmao

Neris is a clown. Carlos Marmol

Because he's the best hitter on the team despite being the youngest and has boat loads of control and potential? What is with the Morel hate around here lately. Dude should have like a 900 OPS if it wasn't for bad luck. Literally the only player that Cubs fans should be drooling in excitement over this season except for Shota Imanaga

PCA with a sparkling .575 OPS now
