I'm fine with that. It's about what i expected. I have no interest in cable whatsoever so atleast I now have the option to get Marquee standalone if I want it. You can buy a MLB.TV subscription and a VPN for much cheaper so I definitely will not be in any hurry to convert. All those minor league games make it better then Marquee anyway. But in a few years when the Ricketts put some real effort into the team again I might consider it. Having the option is nice.

All of this. I hated the Mancini signing when it happened and it's been rough watching him flounder all year. There is just nothing to gain by continuing to throw him out there. Get Mervis up after the break and give him the rest of the year. Mervis is the only interesting 1B in the system right now and it's such a big waste of time, not to mention his development, if you can't even get a measure of him in a tank year.
