Some numbnuts ESPNRadio host said that the renovations were "a disgrace" (due to their being incomplete). He then went on to cite several reasons why they weren't finished which weren't at all the reasons. What reasons did he say? His first reason was "Hoy Doy! hurray for fred laying down the law i was extremely prepared to cut fools if somebody started gam thread before i did so after the end of last garbage matchup tomorrow night -
i kind of hate this if only because i'd prefer not to tack on unnecessary pressure, but man is it ever going to be fun if this works out like it might.

when i was going to school at u of i, a bunch of people played cricket on the south quad sometimes. walking by and watching them on a regular basis, i became (and remain) completely adamant that i could have crushed all those fools at batting or whatever is called thanks to my baseball background. this is probably one of my greatest character flaws, but i still think i'm better at a sport i've never played than anyone in that large group of people who played it regularly.

yeah, i really hate that aspect of it. i wish we were just a random opening day game instead of opening night. we will be a punchline everywhere that night and monday morning.

it is also important to remember that rizzo is magic and used his big, juicy brain to decide to strike out less in the major leagues than he did in the minors. we should probably not ascribe that development path to anyone else, least of all a godless hacker like baez.

i just can't believe in guys who don't strike people out. i'll say he's the guy we replace with a big trade in june.
