I could use some backup so I think this policy makes the most sense. If there is no thread up at 10am central, it's a jump ball. Whoever is here and notices, create one. If I don't see one whenever I happen to check in, then I will create one.
How do other people feel about this? I don't know about a full week but I'm open to leaving 2-3 days of game threads in the forums for people to wrap up conversations.
I've tackled the borked top-of-page issue several times and neither myself nor the other developer can figure out its erratic behavior. We'll dive into it again and see if we can vanquish it this time.
My load times have been very snappy. Anyone else having issues?
There is no chance this game will be played. How do I know that? Because I'm leaving Minneapolis in a few minutes to drive to Wrigley and my luck is never that good.
After a catastrophic start, the Cubs have clawed their way all the way back to a 2-2 record. If there is a game tonight, they face the mighty Kyle Freeland, owner of a 38.57 ERA.
No, you take tomorrow. What I'm going to do this season is check in at 10am and if there is no game thread, I will create one. That's all. It's easiest for me if I can get into a daily rhythm and set expectations for myself. It's more likely I will actually remember to do stuff that way.
Hey, the Cubs won! I had to drive my dad back home so wasn't able to watch the later innings.
@PackLandVA, you're up for tomorrow's game thread. Remember the new guideline of getting it posted by 10am. Thanks!
