It means I changed some code and the side effect was green stars in the forum. I decided that small mistake fell under the "I don't care" category and left it that way. But the star itself means it is an unread thread and you have commented in that thread.

I went to bed in the... fifth? sixth? and missed the shenanigans. I see the Cubs' bullpen took hold of this game in the worst way.

Gonna split this into its own thread. We need new signups or I'm just going to take over game threads (if I end up doing half of them, there's no point in the system). Either way, the new rule we're going to institute is that if no thread is up by 10am, it's a jump ball. If you don't see one, create one at 10:01. West coast trips are usually rough. This one is going pretty okay.

I mean, he's gonna cool off, four homers in four games isn't sustainable. That .327 average probably isn't going to stick around, either. But still, early returns on Busch couldn't be better. I thought this was a pretty savvy trade by the Cubs but hoped that Busch might settle into being a decent regular. In 2024, he's already been worth 0.7 fWAR, which is bloody impressive from his position. His BB% is over 10% and his strikeout rate is 25%, which is entirely reasonable in the modern game from a guy with his power. And his Statcast...

I'd consider a move to Fubo, they have Marquee. And their interface isn't a horsefeathers trashfire like DirecTV Stream.

I could use some backup so I think this policy makes the most sense. If there is no thread up at 10am central, it's a jump ball. Whoever is here and notices, create one. If I don't see one whenever I happen to check in, then I will create one. -
