Screw you man. As a Blackhawks fan, this is GREAT news. \:D/ seconded, looks like they're finally ready to start getting their fans back. i'm incredibly excited for the hawks, he's a perfect fit. he saw the handwriting on the wall about oh, say, before he even took the position with the cubs.

michael jordan's son, jeffrey, is not good at basketball, at all. how can something like that happen? MJ sure did look awesome in that orange polo, though.

is it just me or has meyer recruit better than zook? (oh yeah he has) The big ten bias on this board is absurd go figure, this not being an atlanta braves board or anything. Hell Id say its pretty split actually. There are a lot of SEC fans on this board as well as Big Ten. you'll hear no arguments from me regarding the sec's superiority. tim tebow may be the best player to ever play college football, but it's simply not true to say that illinois is definitely a worse rushing team than lsu. illinois barely does anything but rush, other team's know exactly what is coming and can do nothing about it. ohio state, statistically the best defensive team in the country, couldn't stop the illini from holding the ball for the last 8 minutes of the game. the illini would do just fine against the gators.

florida hasn't seen many o-line's like the illini's either. i hope they play.

meph, you're one of my favorite posters, and most, if not all of your posts on baseball are spot. much of this has to do with your ability with numbers and your understanding of statistics. but you absolutely lack the language to describe football in any accurate manner. you aren't programmed for it, whether it's the wriing or the processor.

Just 1 game yadda yadda Tim Tebow yadda yadda SEC yadda yadda luck. Edit: Unless Florida wins. illinois is the closest thing to an sec team in the big ten. florida would have their hands full, but so would the illini defense.

i was hoping that the illini wouldn't draw florida in a bowl game, but now, i'm hoping they do and rearrange them.

You mean it will help him recruit once he takes the Nebraska job or it will help him recruit Benn and Williams to transfer? Zooks not going anywhere yep. zook's been fired once already and he's spent a lot of time building illinois up to respectability. he's no spring chicken and i doubt he wants to go through it again in nebraska, despite the glamour of nebraska.

even though it's tied, ohio state looks amazing. it's like they have more players on the field than illinois. illinois has made a couple big plays, but that's it.

:D awesome. I mean seriously this board is made up predominately of IU and UI fans, since we are in the midwest. The 2 schools are rivals, there is going to be alot of discussion/arguments amongst the 2 fan bases. Maybe we should have an IU and UI thread only so you others dont have to "suffer" reading about 2 of the bigger fanbases of this board. i have no problem with "discussion" between UofI/IU fans. just stop being such bitches about everything i can't believe that you of all people are scolding folks for being bitches. i'm full of mysteries well, you definitely have the time on your hands. to..... ...think up ways in which to be full of mysteries.

crawford doesn't do much for me. he's certainly a good player, and he's definitely right up hendry's alley, but he'd require too much--he's overvalued by pretty much everyone.
