why do hate to sound like me? i only consider tisdale such a terrible player because people thought he was the second coming of kareem and he's actually a terrible player.
I know his mom got pretty involved in the recruiting process. Wanted to make sure her son was going to the "right" place. Not sure how much that scared off/eliminated bigger schools. there's some innuendo out there regarding her, too. but illinois can't really talk, alex legion's mother is crazy crazy crazy and he's not even any good.
looking over the info, looks like mitchell had 3 offers: kansas state, north texas, and mizzou. for a 5 star recruit that seems strange. good luck with him, tho. EDIT: sorry, overlooked georgetown.
YESYESYESYES It may be more hope than actual speculation, but I've heard Mitchell and Pressey on board make us players for Beal next year. Back the [expletive] off. meyers leonard puts it at 50-50 illinois or kansas. anything can happen but it'd be a huge upset.
He can't defend. For a team likely to struggle with defense more than scoring, there's no place for Cole on the court. i think the zone defense is designed to get him on the court. but watching him out there, he's not terrible, at least any more than tisdale.
the illini freshmen look amazing. yeah, i know that they played siue, but the aggressive mentality on offense is real. paul showed his ability to slash, shoot, and dish and richardson looked rock-solid. ps-watch out for bill cole.
Hahaha one of my favorite schools. A school named after a state that is not in that state. On top of that it's not even a bordering state. I remember first learning about that when I was a kid and thinking it was funny. I use it as a trivia question sometimes. how do you use it as a trivia question sometimes? What is the farthest east IU campus? I guess my answer is still technically true just highly misleading. sounds like a hoot
