  1. what's the opposite of a turnover? do that!
  2. you have an advantage in the fact that i am an illinois fan.
  3. how do you lose while outshooting them like that? that kind of crap just doesn't happen to other teams.
  4. this is frustrating.
  5. "this would never have happened if gar forman wete alive."
  6. knit me a sweater.
  7. what is it that i always say?
  8. The production they get from that money spent(or that roster spot) has a monetary value, and the probable difference in production between Silva and Bradley far exceeds the money saved from the trade. it's really too bad that there is such a gap between actual production and perceived value. but i guess i'll take the trade because bradley's perceived value is so low we couldn't have hoped for much more than cash, and we couldn't expect hendry to do the actual logical thing.
  9. i wish watching sports was fun, but it's not. the blackhawks won, tho.
  10. that was a bad loss, but par for the course.
  11. it was the worst display of basketball i've seen in a while. they are so undisciplined. richmond looked okay despite being hurt.
  12. there's just so much synergy (haha) involved in football that it's hard to tell what's fucked up if your line is fucked up.
  13. no problem, he just threw down a nice oop.
  14. illini fans may want to turn on espn right now.
  15. and i don't think the 3-4 will be brought in, although i think it would be good for urlacher and briggs. tommie, alex and gilbert would play the DEs and roach, williams, and adams would presumably play the olbs. i don't like the 3-4, i still think it's a gimmick, come on, why is everyone standing up at the snap? seriously. get your hands on the ground you asses and play football.
  16. and i don't know why we have to keep kreutz, without a cap, there is no hit, right? mankins, another OG, jackson would be my wish list. and i still think cutler has a rep in the league as being a guy receivers want throwing to them, especially marshall--although i'll take jackson because of the fact that he's not a complete maniac who will probably end up murdering someone some day.
  17. reminds me a lot of the jeff walker situation.
  18. It actually sounds like he got a raw deal to me. This laptop thing seems pretty trumped up. i was looking forward to seeing him play, that sucks. good luck to him, hope he can straighten it all out.
  19. okay, so go get vincent jackson no matter what the cost. i'm on board with that.
  20. it will be fairly easy for them to revamp their o-line in the offseason in terms of the free agent pool. unfortunately, they're going to have to throw money at guards instead of tackles. i don't think omiyale's future is at guard and i think beekman's future is at center. the williams experiment will continue at LT, which is probably the only certainty, well, that and garza being out the door.
  21. hossa now has more goals than havlat this season.
  22. nice work, spaz
  23. well, i would have jizzed in his face
  24. Never heard either one described that way. Always heard IU and Wisconsin, sometimes Ohio State. iowa is up there, ahead of illinois but probably not wisconsin.
