  1. oh come on. this isn't near the gut-wrenching agony that cavs fans were in for years. we expect to lose, the bulls have won a game, that's a positive. just happy to be here. Exactly. I'm assuming that you're a Cubs fan. So, being a fan of a team that doesn't win championships, you get excited at the idea of the playoffs and just the possibility. It's almost impossible to not get worked up. Look at all of those annoying Saints fans. Sure, it's annoying, but it is pretty expected. Also, I don't think I've said a single thing in this thread where I was convinced the Cavs were going to win the championship or acted that way in the least. You're the one doing things like that. i never let myself get excited over the cubs, ever. That must suck. Why be a fan of a team if not for the extreme highs and lows? i will get excited over the cubs when they are in the ws.

  3. It wasn't an insult to the city of Chicago and the history of Chicago basketball, lol. It was a great shot. Hell, they were pretty tame in comparison to just about any TNT announcer. And, he has done plenty. With insider information like that, you should move to Vegas. maybe you should. after all, you were the guy that predicted a cavs championship last year. "lebron takes his first step towards his destiny" or something like that. what a joke.

  5. Haha, this is cute. A team like the Cavs. Gosh us Bulls fans have never seen a team as good as this Cavs team. It's almost as good as the 7th or 8th best Bulls team of all time, almost. And the thing that makes it even funnier to me is the media and Cavs fans acting like this is some juggernaut. Let them win a title first. Aw, you started to think the Bulls had a shot to win the series. i don't think anyone has said that at all.

I guess this past decade of not being spoiled with multiple basketball championships has really taken a toll on your mood. Jordan isn't coming off of the bench, and this Bulls team isn't nearly as good as the Cavs are. And, you know that. Everyone does. who cares? you atill aren't winning a title, let alone multiple.
  7. He most certainly should not have. Agree. No need to rush a 20 year old SS, just because some people think it would be "cool" to see. It wasn't rushing. It wasn't "cool" to see. Castro was ready and he would have provided the best SS/2B combo the team could have put out there (Castro/Theriot). Fontenot has shown he isn't fundamentally sound enough to be an everyday 2B. Theriot barely is too. a straight baker/fontenot platoon is much better than theriot. provided it's a straight platoon and not subject to the whim of our genius manager.
  8. Excellent. Though he better keep his head up tomorrow night. Especially if the Hawks have a couple-goal lead near the end of the game. hossa seems like a slightly dirty, but not overly nasty player. he's probably had his share of people come after him, he'll know what to do.
  9. no man, there's nothing to argue about. you.....can't.......write. look for something else, i'm serious.
  10. i saw riley's interview with george karl today and that guy doesn't look like he an 85-90% chance to beat what he has. he looks horrible. i hope he gets better because he's always been one of my favorite coaches.
  11. absolutely, people were excited about being back in the playoffs and expected a lot from a decent but just above average team. remember the miami sweep? the crowd was absolutely crazy during that. they didn't follow it up with anything, the fans are just jaded.
  12. the hornets set all kinds of records in charlotte, too. bulls fans just don't know how to behave anymore. Yeah, Bulls fans pretty much suck. I suppose not thinking you have a chance probably doesn't help things but still, you're trying to upset the best team in the NBA, it'd be nice if it were louder. It makes no sense that the Cubs, White Sox, Blackhawks and Bears all can have pretty electric crowds and the UC sounds like a morgue during Bulls games. if we start winning again with consistency and start making deep playoff runs, the crowd will come around. in oklahoma city, everything is new. when your fans have been there so many times before, it's hard to get up for a first round would-be mauling.

  14. this is some good trolling right here I do agree with the sentiment that we need to get him some more starts though, heck just chuck the whole "start soriano" idea and just go with Colvin in Left every day what the [expletive] are you talking about? i'm giving credit where credits due man, you're a pro haha, i get it. spaz
  15. i don't see how this matters, he had no effect on the outcome of that play whatsoever.

  17. colvin needs to go down. i can't stand him not getting enough plate appearances. this guy looks like he's developed into something valuable, let's not ruin him.
  18. you guys are probably right, but i've watched it a hundred times and it's just really hard to tell.
  19. The Broncos get an A, the Panthers get a C, and Rick Gosselin gets a WTF. I saw one on NFL.com that gave the Panthers a low grade. His reasoning made no sense. He said they did what they should have done an went QB and WR. He gave them a low grade because they should have done it years ago. You can't give grades out based on failings of previous drafts. That is moronic. To make it better he gave the Raiders a high grade. If you did rankings based on previous drafts they should get an F for the next couple years no matter what. It amazes and really pisses me off how many awful columnists are out there when so many good ones can't get jobs. someone needs to randy jackson you. you just can't write, dog. you should go try to do something else.
  20. upon further review, it looks like ward scored that 4th goal for the hawks, not kane.
  21. juice is a college spread-option power quarterback. he's very mechanical in his throws, his arm is amazing, but his release and decision-making are very slow. he sucks at short throws, good at deep ones, average at the intermediates. he doesn't have the speed of randle-el or brad smith and cannot play wide receiver, has never returned kicks or punts, nor would anyone want him to. his ability lies in his strength as a runner, and for a power back, he's got average elusiveness. he runs over people, not around them. if there were a special roster exemption for the wildcat quarterback, he'd be a nice fit, but there isn't. he's got virtually zero chance of ever making an NFL roster.
  22. lebron james is calling recruits and steering them towards kentucky. this apparently skirts the rules because he can't be classified as an alum or booster. makes me hate him even more
  23. awesome story, too. really wanted him to get drafted.
  24. we deserved to win anyway, they got lucky to even make it close. admittedly, they outplayed us after they got the lead.
