  1. i can't watch the game, how many times has this idiot thrown over to first?
  2. tom thayer apparently thinks that chris williams is the best LT in the north. i don't think it's a huge stretch, clifton is old and mckinnie is pretty good, but there's no reason that williams can't be elite. i thought he stacked up well to the other LTs in his draft class and his injury put him behind.
  3. http://blackhawks.nhl.tv/team/console.jsp?catid=1012&id=67694 things sulley likes.
  4. I laughed my ass off when I first heard this. I almost cried. of all the awesome country music out there and they pick that. disgraceful. nashville, if anyone, has a chance to really hit it out of the park and they whiff with tim [expletive] mcgraw. achy-breaky heart would have at least been funny.
  5. that's true you do need to give up value.
  6. i don't know, what kind of value does hinrich have?
  7. but honestly, what other trade options are out there? bynum? butler? the heat don't even have enough contract for a sign-and-trade. toronto is gonna get stuck with cap space they won't be able to use.
  8. hahahaha yeah, it's terrible
  9. all built on the backs of the wheat moguls and sunflower mafia haha
  10. what if toronto would take a sign-and-trade for bosh? i was talking with a guy on another board, and toronto isn't really an attractive destination for any free agent so cap space might not mean as much to colangelo as it would to us. do you think they might take deng, gibson, and our #1 for him?
  11. i think he's the kind of quarterback that keep a bad team average and an average team good. if the defense can play, i think cutler will have the bears in the playoff picture.
  12. that was a chevette, we can't afford the nice cars here in illinois that they can in the bustling walled, megaopolic republic that is the the entire state of kansas
  13. but seriously, i'm not talking about lebron anymore, i swear.
  14. winning and stomping the league are two different things, though. i think it's obvious he can have a winning team, i think it remains to be seen if he can win multiple championships or even A championship without another high-level NBA star.
  15. the only way lebron stomps the league for the half decade is if he goes to new york with wade or bosh. then we will all have a big problem.
  16. best player available
  17. wade is a killer
  18. I've been wondering for a while why any top recruit ever signs an LOI. There's almost no benefit to them, when they can get aid promised that doesn't bind them to the school. top recruits commit to top schools and top schools take those who sign. kentucky has an army of brandon knights itching to take their money. don't want to lose out on the highest bidder, you know?
  19. i'd add that either of the FA's are going to need rose and noah just as much.
  20. that is what being a cub fan is about watching warning track power while the other team is hitting bomb after bomb
  21. I heard Carrie posts here under a pseudonym. redivycub? Bruce Miles i believe bruce miles is bruce miles redivycub was some other broad that had a job with the cubs' front office
  22. i knew kennedy's delivery reminded me of someone, makes sense that he went to USC.
