  1. absolutely agree. if you have a good changeup, you can be a serviceable pitcher in the league. this is why we have rothschild, he's very good.
  2. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v519/suleyman21/chuckrondo.jpg totally
  3. i like rondo because he looks like chuck berry
  4. he's not old enough to play for the celtics.
  5. that's crazy talk... i sure hope so, but not likely. i don't see why this is so crazy, oscar robertson couldn't win it all until joining kareem AT THE HEIGHT OF HIS POWER. i think the bulls will be in a better position to put another verifiable star or superstar with rose.
  6. what about the tommie harris incident?
  7. i still think rose will get a title first unless lebron goes to NY next year with wade or bosh.
  8. fine, give him the same calls that any elite pg gets rose gets to the rim better than any point guard in the league, give him the same fouls that any next-tier star gets and he'll be moving on up to the first tier. refs let lebron force his way on defenses like ben roethlisberger at a home for women with cerebral palsy. i would never expect the league to let a guy like derrick rose do that, i'm sorry. my bad, mojo.
  9. and stern would be wise to instruct officials to give rose the benefit of the same calls that lebron gets. chicago is a big 3 franchise.
  10. nobody who gets to the hoop like rose does gets to the line as little. as seen in this series, lebron doesn't have to draw contact to get calls. give rose the calls that lebron gets and he'll most definitely get more pps.
  11. if the hawkeyes wanted to be dangerous, they'd go get tracy webster.
  12. Rose averaged 26.8 points per game in the series, but needed 25 shots per game to do so. He really needs to become more of a weapon from the outside and/or get to the line a lot more. the refs can start calling fouls anytime. the play in which lebron was "injured" is a perfect example. rose does not need to become a chucker to be a superstar, he just needs refs to start doing their jobs.
  13. i just dare them to all have a good time
  14. you would dare someone? haha you know im right i dare you to be right
  15. there's really no comparison between noah and varejao at all.
  16. you would dare someone? haha
  17. yes because every dirty play ends up with somebody horribly maimed. you must love the NHL's rule of punishing the injury and not the infraction. clearly your eyes are not working so i'll leave this discussion now, unless someone else who's reasonable cares to weigh in. wow, this means a lot to you, huh? not saying the play wasn't dirty, just that hamhuis wasn't as injured as he let on. he went into the boards really fast; at the very least i'm sure the wind was completely knocked out of him. it only means something to me because you're so wrong. and it only means something to me because you're so passionate about this. my first post was half-kidding. i just decided to keep it going because it's such a huge issue to you.

  19. Really? Harris was a quality (though not great by any means) safety for the Bears during the Super Bowl season. When he was traded, people didn't hate it because we still trusted Lovie at that point, and were kind of rolling with the Adam Archuleta idea. It was pretty clearly a mistake in hindsight. Pretty much. It's really selling him short to say that he showed nothing. he wasn't great in 06 but he was pretty good in 05.
  20. okay, now it won't be good to have him back. jamar williams is a star waiting to happen. LB is deep and the safeties are bad. Harris/Wright should be a huge upgrade over the MASH unit that was back there last year. true, i just hate giving up a good young player while the others at the position are aging.
  21. and he was really really hurt, so hurt that he played well in the next game
  22. okay, now it won't be good to have him back. jamar williams is a star waiting to happen.
  23. wow, it will be good to have him back
  24. oh get over it, the guy played in the next game, he was absolutely fine.
  25. sorry snood, i read your posts i honestly do
