  1. Come on. How old are you? what does age have anything to do with it. i'm old enough to remember a lot of chicago choke jobs and not enough championships. Perhaps, but you're being ridiculous. Yes, we know the worst could happen. But you don't have to keep dwelling on it. after game 6, i expect the worst to happen, and it generally does.

  3. one of these has to go in, right?
  4. Easy there, chief. this series could easily turn, and it would be talked about forever.
  5. please don't let this happen to me again
  6. losing this series would be absolutely devastating
  7. somebody make me feel better about this
  8. would be nice to get one before the period.
  9. everyone was talking about how the canucks are done and pretty much sizing up the hawks vs. the sharks. this could be an epic disaster because the canucks are skilled and can win 3 in a row against us very easily.
  10. luongo is on fire tonight. shutout coming.
  11. i hate losing when we're dominating
  12. that makes absolutely no sense whatsoever.
  13. Isn't he the kid whose mom was a wannabe Miss Cleo who claimed to the future? :-)) almost, she's a hyper-religious nut who thinks she's God's prophet.
  14. maybe if they would have hired satan
  15. What the hell is wrong with you? it's just hard for me to see iowa as a rival anymore.
  16. he'd be a good guy for fran to get to build his team on, no doubt, and as long as he doesn't go bonkers against the illini, i'd enjoy seeing iowa build off of him.
  17. legion wasn't even a guy that i thought weber's "lesson teaching" coaching style affected in the slightest. alex killed his own dreams by being 6-5 and not being able to play basketball. i'm not sure how the fact that he can't dribble, shoot, or play defense managed to elude 2 high major college programs for even any time at all. dreamkiller, indeed. you would have been serviceable had you been able to at least shoot.
  18. smart move on both of their parts. dmac needs to win to get more recognition, and davis needs a year of working on his game. i really think davis has a great chance of playing in the league for a very long time, he has the mid-range game that many teams covet in their forwards. he just needs to learn how to get to the rim more often. the sky is the limit for mccamey, he's big, strong, sees the floor well, shoots well, has a high, deceiving dribble, goes from zero to 60 in no time at all, and is pretty athletic. he needs to work on his decision-making, but he's my early favorite for btpoy, and i say that with no bias at all, haha.
  19. french-canadian guys with the very structured technique don't give us many problems. it's the guys who flop all over the ice willy-nilly that seem to shut us down.
  20. fine, we'll take him i wouldn't mind seeing randle play at iowa. i grew up watching acie earl and brad hopkins play at moline and i was glad i got to see them play in college and in the pros. i'll root for him if for no other reason than he's a quad city guy.
