  1. it's a cross between 2001 and 2006, with the exception being we now have a franchise qb to pin our hopes on.

  19. Because it's cold and [expletive] and he wanted to get to the locker room to warm up and dry off. What is more probable, Urlacher catching that and running 104 yards for a TD, or Urlacher intercepting it and trying to run it back and fumbling the ball on a tackle that is scooped up by the Vikings for a score? Or what if the ball bounces off his hands and back up into the air. It's just better to bat it down as the odds of the bears getting points on that play is so insignificant its not worth risking injury or something random and catostrophic happening. i hate bat downs, just catch the ball.
