  1. you didn't see urlacher blitz on that the one third down on that drive?
  2. Not sure how. Mark Sanchez is worse than Craig Krenzel and Moses Moreno combined according to you bozos. sanchez is perfect in every single way.
  3. and blitzing is not the adjustment.
  4. too easy. just annihilated us on that drive. lucky quarterback, that's all.
  5. the jets a have an awesome o-line, we'll need to figure out a way to get to this douchebag.
  6. a terrible quarterback has made some tough throws in this game.
  7. Sulley must not be watching, eh? we had that first fumble, the ref and the tv camera had a bad angle on it, it looked like the jets player had it in his gut, but urlacher had his arm around it and had possession. Take a deep breath, sit back and relax, and enjoy the game. Go BEARS !! oh, i totally am. no pressure now, all just icing. that said, if they want to have a great shot at the super bowl, win the next two games.
  8. they seem to be tough late. hopefully we can break their face and put them away early and the just kick the hell out of them while they are bleeding and dying on the field.

  10. we had that earlier fumble.
  11. hester's got to take that up the field. but then again, the bears should have been able to get the first down on second down.
  12. and another. unbelievable. why us?
  13. we are outplaying them, they are shooting out of their asses again. wouldn't continue in a playoff game.
  14. so, i've been reading the ganggreen board a little bit. many of their fans think that peppers will, obviously, be a problem. but they also think that lining up a tight end on his side will help. however, they're not thinking that peppers lines up on both sides and that marinelli doesn't decide which side he will line up on, peppers does. there's no real rhyme or reason for which side it is. they think this is a good matchup for them, i disagree, at least on offense. on defense, they'll be tough, as always.
  15. i give up, what coach did he coach to the coach coach?
  16. As a fan who's transitioned through the Brickhouse/Kupcinet, McConnell/Palmer (my favorites), Laravie/et.al, I can honestly say Joniak is the worst of the bunch. I like Thayer, but as a play by play man, Joniak is poor. His insistence on describing the play before stating out the outcome drives me nuts. When I'm stuck listening to him, I have to wait almost to the snap of the next play to find out it's 2nd and 5 or whatever. My belief is the play by play guy should state the play and the outcome and let the color guy then explain the details. I thought the Bears/WBBM went on the cheap to hire their news reader as the announcer instead of going out and finding a professional to take over. My neck hairs raise with his lame attempt to give out nicknames (Windy City Flyer?) or his signature Touchdown! Touchdown Bears! call. (On full disclosure, I also hate the stadium announcer's Timeout! Where?... call). But, I seem to be in the minority on this board as several people seem to like him. But just know it's not unanimous. you truly have a refined ear.
  17. i don't wanna talk about [expletive] everyone and [expletive] you too iowa
  18. The fact that they are all failed head coaches makes me think it is more possible to keep them where they are, but if it takes a Lovie extension to guarantee they are back I'm all for it. it's definitely a bonus that they are viewed as damaged goods and not likely to be hired as hc's anytime soon.
  19. man i've listened to quite a few bears radio highlights lately. joniak/thayer are every bit as enjoyable to listen to as pat/ron. makes things a little easier, considering that thayer is young and in good health.
  20. well, he made the lions offense respectable for a little while and he had nothing to work with in san fran until that crazy [expletive] got hired and you can't really hold it against someone for not getting along with someone as insane and irrational as singletary. in fact, i think it's awesome that singletary got rid of him, if he hadn't, i might not like him as much. with the bears he actually has the perfect situation: a good quarterback and an old friend head coach that allows him a certain comfort level. martz has been caught on many occasions smiling. even when cutler makes an inexplicable throw, he doesn't get all red-assed. the coaching staff looks kind of like a family, i hope they keep it together for a while. granted, it's easier to smile about things when you're winning.
  21. i hate stone but i would definitely consider it due to the fact that white sox fans would absolutely die if they were spurned by him. stone is like julia ormond in legends of the fall, the sox are aidan quinn, and the cubs are brad pitt. which would make the orioles the kid from ET that died horribly years ago.
  22. he fancies himself a dictator in the mold of a bill parcells, but he has been humbled by having to work for a former subordinate and i think he has a new outlook on life.
