    his forward progress was stopped while he was in bounds True, but that's a silly rule. Only counts out of bounds if you go out on purpose? It wouldn't be silly if he was right at the first down marker and was thrown backward out of bounds. Not trying to be a smart ass, just trying to point out why it's in place. Makes sense. also, if you get pushed out of bounds, it counts as out of bounds.

Only counts out of bounds if you go out on purpose? pretty much. i've never fully understood why it's like that. essentially, if your forward progress is stopped initially, you have to stay in bounds and get past the spot where you were initially hit without getting hit again and stopped.

    he tends to throw the ball like that a lot, he gets on top of the ball. It just seems like they're all like that tonight. Maybe he's just amped? I don't know. that one to sanzenbacher was ugly, but the other throws haven't looked completely abnormal for him.
