    How the hell is there not at least 1 felony in all that? In Miss. we likely would have charged him with felony Simple Assault which is putting another person in fear of imminent serious bodily harm. fwiw, I just looked up misdemeanor Third Degree Assault in Bama and what he did doesn't fit this statute: Pretty weird, none of the assault statutes in Alabama include scaring the isht out of someone. So what he did doesn't fit into any of the statutes there. http://law.justia.com/codes/alabama/2006/13297/147495.html well, if the south won't punish him, he's probably going to get an indefinite suspension by goodell. he's going to make an example out of him. but i imagine if he fired a gun next to someone's ear they'd have to at least have a ruptured eardrum, which would constitute bodily injury.
