  1. Don't click on it then for god sakes. i'll wager a guess that he didn't Then who cares if the dude makes a video. Its like complaing about a post or a bad thread...don't read it. sorry, that just bugs me. This board used to be much more friendly. commenting on these posts is pretty much the same thing. lighten up I've noted that the board didn't used to be horribly lame until one "Bob Sanders" showed up and peed in everyone's Cheerios
  2. God, how I wish the search function worked. Ever day at midnight I'd search for "CERA", and then i'd reply to any post using it with HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHJAHAHAHAJKHFHBWELFJBJKBEG;kjwbe
  3. Scalpers around the stadium have been burned holding way too many seats in the last couple of years, so they don't tend to hang onto as many. Also, there are way too many stories on here of people just not being smart about buying tickets. Always look the tickets over carefully before you buy them.
  4. They look decently threatening, with Rogers looking to be the catalyst. As stated previously, Seitz needs to hang onto the ball. Beltran looks very shaky on the right, and Zizzo has been fairly quiet. I'm confident.
  5. Can I vote for vince_the_cub_fan?
  6. What should I think?
  7. Cristiano Ronaldo (Manchester United) and Kaka (AC Milan) are 1-2. There's a big gap after them. After that, you could order 3-5 like this: Thierry Henry (Barcelona) Ronaldinho (Barcelona) Leo Messi (Barcelona) All three on the same team. There are big gaps in talent between a player like Ronaldinho and a player like Steven Gerrard, who might be top 10, but nowhere near the top 5. You've got great goal scorers like Didier Drogba and Wayne Rooney, who probably aren't in the top 10. Ditto Robinho. You have defenders like Fabio Cannavaro and goalkeepers like Gianluigi Buffon, who are great at their position but couldn't be considered top 20. If you're only talking about field players, there isn't an American in the top 100, and I'd strain to put one in the top 200. Tim Howard is probably a top 50 keeper. Wow, I had e-mailed a friend in London asking the same question. He gave me the exact 5 that you did, in no particular order. Yeah, really those 5 are pretty much head and shoulders above anyone else. It's the list I would've given. Also, I don't have FSC, Goltv or ESPNU. I watched the first US game in the Gold Cup, but haven't seen any Copa America or U-20 World Cup games. go find a torrent of the US-Brazil U-20 game.
  8. From Marquez? he doesn't do that sort of thing http://espndeportes.espn.go.com/i/020627/m_marquez_rafa_vt.jpg
  9. this response makes no sense First of all, you give no row numbers. Second of all, seats one and two (at least for the first couple rows) are pictured. Wrigley is denoted by aisle, not section. Your tickets are in aisle 33, which is pictured there. Your seats are on the right side of the aisle. Maybe I misunderstood you. I took it as you were saying that if I were walking down the stairs pictured there, the triple digit seats would be the ones on the immediaet right, with the single digits being on the other end of the row (towards right field). Either way, thanks for the clarification, I appreciate it! Ah. Sorry for the semi-bitchy response, and congrats on the ridiculous seats.
  10. Normally it pisses me off when players do that on a PK, but for Sanchez I make an exception. Anything that makes Oswaldo look stupid is worth it. I laughed when Riquelme hit the ball. I missed it, what did he do on the PK. He ran up to hit it, and when Oswaldo dove, Riquelme nonchalantly slowed down his foot and chipped it lazily right down the middle where Oswaldo was. By the time the ball hit the net, Sanchez was getting up from where he dove to. It was hilarious. The Italians call it "Il cucchaio" Totti does it from time to time. The ultimate insult.

  12. single digits are on the right side of the aisle as you come down it, triple digits on the left.
  13. Hasidic. Still do.
  14. same here. But, I have to say, I almost prefer Galavision.
  15. Gotta love the NBA, the only sport where the product is so boring that they have to play music while the game is actually going on.
  16. Taylor Twellman has a hot wife, and he's not even any good.
  17. awesome. is it a warm-up friendly? chelsea is travelling to the u.s. to play the la galaxy and some south korean team in a few weeks, but i decided not to travel to la to see them. :( Good for you. They'll announce at the last minute that a number of players aren't appearing, after which the players you want to see that do appear will do so for 45 minutes at most and will jog around halfheartedly. The Galaxy will tie them 1-1, after which Alexei Lalas will say that it's a sign that MLS sides are as good as teams like Chelsea.
  18. Penn State won't match the other 2, methinks. I'm hoping for a solid, 10-win season this year.
  19. Adu might've had the goal on the second one, but the Brazilian defender hit the shot with his hand. I think karma took it right to Altidore.
  20. I hate everybody involved.
  21. I found it telling tonight that Bradley was possibly the worst US player on the pitch. Says a lot for a) his dad and b) the quality of the US youngsters. And I'm also happy that Seitz is awesome. I'd heard he was, but I'd never seen him in action. Some of these boys best go to Europe soon.
  22. Good. Throw in all the kids, Bob. If I see Twellman again, I'm gonna barf.
  23. ahahahahauhgasdgaoigf;kwfkwjhfawf whew. gotta go change my pants.
  24. We should have won that one.
