  1. This might trigger some people. but Russell has posted a line of .333/.392/.571/.964 in 12 games since being demoted after a line of .286/.407/.429/.835 the final 19 games in the majors. Only time he didn't hit in the majors this yeas was when dealing with the hand injury. #BEST25
  2. Lets hope this imaginary good Reds team shows up to play the Cardinals for 4 games next week. Maybe they can get a 4 game sweep to go from 4-7 to 8-7 vs the Cardinals. They are 9-7 vs us and 17-23 vs the rest of the division.
  3. The park keeping the Cardinals offense down also helps their pitching hence being 11 games over .500 at home with 210 runs allowed.
  4. The Reds aren't a good team they are in 4th place with a losing record in the bottom 5 of the NL.
  5. They only had two games they lost by 8 or more runs and 8 wins to skew the RD. The Reds should have a better offense than the Cardinals they play in a hitters park, the Cardinals don't. What team would have the higher OPS if they switched parks? Road OPS vs Home -.077 Reds +.026 Cardinals
  6. As you would expect the Pirates use a 7.20 ERA pitcher to turn a 1 run game to 3 runs, and the Pirates score what could have been the tying run.
  7. Its higher now. Pirates are about to be 4-24 in the second half and 1-8 of that to the Cardinals. They have to let Clint the Prick go after this game its clear he's lost the team and his mind.
  8. Clint is down 1 so he goes to the guy with a 7.20 ERA
  9. The routine ball Goldy got the "hit" on had a xBA of .030, they catch that its still 8-4 with 6 outs to hold.
  10. The Reds' pythag record is 62-53 vs. their actual record of 56-69. They are a decidedly better team than their record indicates. The Reds winning in a bunch of blowouts doesn't make then a better overall team.
  11. Cardinals hit a grand slam to take the lead all thanks to the misplayed pop up
  12. The Cardinals dumb announces think the Pirates his a guy to put the tying on base intentionally. He then hits the next guy to score a run and the misplay pop is setting them up big time.
  13. Crick with a WTF to the bench after the Pirates let a pop into shall LF fall for a single to start a Cardinals rally.
  14. The Giants had a good run before the deadline, and are already back to reality this month. The Reds aren't a good team and are in 4th in this mediocre division and are only close to .500 due to owning us, the Cardinals would need to drop the next 5 games to the Reds to be as bad as we are. It would be cool if they could help, but you are going to be severely let down if you are expecting any kind of real help from those teams going forward.
  15. Glad they made that pitching change KB owns Lorenzen (SSS)
  16. Hell yes we got a lucky hit and made them pay.
  17. Wow that was a lucky bounce, lets take advantage of it.
  18. Damn he just missed pushing that off the wall
  19. They also have 8 games against the Reds (3 under) and 4 against SF (2 under). Teams who would be worse if they didn't beat us
  20. Now would be a good time for that bomb Riz
  21. horsefeathers the Pirates who blew their lead in 3 hitters. The Brewers are the only winning team the Cardinals play between now and September 16th.
  22. Its not meant to be a burn its just a fact, unlike you I want everyone on our roster to do good. With that said 2 HR over 48 games for your #3/4 hitter in the year of the HR isn't very good.
  23. Which one finishes with a higher total. Soler HR (34) or Cubs road losses (35).
  24. He wants to get on base with only 2 HR in just under 2 months.
