  1. Jed's job as far as Ricketts goes is to manage Tom's money and put a team on the field. Jed has most certainly done what Tom wants.
  2. You're right. Overall, Jed has done a horrible job putting together a major league team with the 237 million he has to spend.
  3. Belli in LF, PCA in CF, and Suzuki in RF would be the best situation right now. I was disappointed that they sent PCA down, which confirms that they are still committed to Happ/Tauchman for now.
  4. Thanks! I'm on Savant every day. I'll have to dig a littl deeper. I watched that play several times. Had he taken a direct to it, he catches it. He was running too much east, west. Agree to disagree.
  5. What site is this from. This is great info. Thanks.
  6. It was a terrible route taken by Tauchman on that bloop hit. That's an easy catch. Had he caught it, Dansby would have been positioned differently, and it's a routine ground out. Instead of 2 outs and nobody on, it 1st and 2nd and nobody out.
  7. Interesting. I thought it translated to "the afterbirth."
  8. I was thinking the same exact thing as I was scrolling!!
  9. If I had to guess, he's probably pretty tall for a middle schooler also!
  10. I think it's been like 5-6 days. Maybe Kyle to the IL?
  11. If they were going to do a DH platoon, I would prefer Cooper/Mervis. Cooper hits LHP eons better than Wisdom. He crushes it like nobody on this team.
  12. Somebody needs to go on the IL though, or Wesneski can't be called up.
  13. I just picked up where I left off. I didn't "go all the way back." Anyway, I would give him starts until Justin comes back, which could/should be for the Brewers series May 3, 4, 5.
  14. I personally can't find what you're looking for, but they are hitting .280 with RISP, which is 10th. They have driven 84 runs, which is 7th.
  15. So, how long to you give him the "benefit of the doubt?"
  16. You are correct! After the home team wins game one of a 4 game series, the odds of completing the sweep are about 6-1. I would assume that the odds are a bit worse if there's a double header in the series?
  17. The more I think about it, the more I want to choose a pen guy to throw 3-4 innings each game, and not do the multiple one inning thing. The more guys used, the more chance of one or more of them being off. I'm not worried if that one pitcher is down for 3-4 days. Just keep rotating multiple inning guys every game.
  18. What are the chances that if Kyle struggles right away, Brown comes in with the intention to throw 6-7 innings? Or close to 100 pitches. That pitch count seems to be his next level to complete his stretching out.
  19. He went 6 innings and 85 pitches last outing. He's pretty stretched out. Why would he have to go to Iowa to continue as a SP? He's been our second best MLB pitcher. He helps the most in the rotation
  20. Hopefully, this is being done to solve the problem in LF against LHP. Also, they need to make a decision on Canario after this year, as he'll be out of options. This will give them a good chance to see who he is.
  21. I'm hoping that it's not a "piggy back." His pitch count should be in the mid 80's, low 90's tonight, so he may actually be able to go 6 or maybe 7 innings without feeling the need to get him out early. Even if he throws 15 pitches an inning, that would get him out of the 6th. No piggy back needed.
  22. Imagine how productive he'd be if he only played against RHP??? His numbers from the other side are killing his overall production.
