My theory is that the Cubs tried to hold Corey's hand in stealing and tell him when to steal, and were too cautious with him and wouldn't let him decide, and when they wanted to steal with Corey, he wasn't ready and didn't have experience. With the O's, Corey has been given the green light, and allowed to steal when he wants. Yestaurday, with the O's up 11-4 in the 7th, he stole second and third. Perlazzo wasn't happy with this, but it shows that Corey has been allowed to decided when to run, and has been successful.
