Between Kornheiser, Theisman, and celebrity interviews, these ESPN Monday night telecasts have become unwatchable. And, from the sound of it (I'm not watching, I'm too pissed), way too many commercials.
I meant more from a national interest perspective. NBC wants everyone to be interested, not just Bronco fans. But you're right of course. If the Bears were playing the Raiders, I'd sure be tuning in. :) Raiders and football fans may still watch for a while hoping for an upset.
Basically: Baseball Tonight: 30 seconds on some of the league, 5 minutes on Dodgers, 5 minutes on Mets, 9:30 on RedSox. Royals, Tampa Bay, and Oakland no longer exist except when playing said teams. 20 minutes on Yankees 20 minutes on Bonds.
