  1. if you look at his OBA and other such things, it suggests that 2005 was a fluke, not the norm to be expected, so hopefully this is a precurser to something else.
  2. Maybe he's a left handed version of Farnsworth... Drafted - Selected by Oakland Athletics in 2nd Round (69th overall) of 2001 amateur entry draft (June-Reg) Jun 13,2001 - signed Dec 16,2002 - Traded by Athletics with Daylon Holt and Billy Koch to White Sox for Joe Valentine, Mark Johnson, Keith Foulke and Cash. over the last three years went 65.1, 60.1, 54 innings pitched.
  3. Ahh, Red Delicious, eat those and you might as well not eat an apple.
  4. I think that when Hendry gets fired or leaves, Sosa and whoever replaces him will make up and be friendly.
  5. Is there really a need for another thread?
  6. Verlander and H. Ramirez. I think Zimmerman should have won.
  7. 3rd-Down Conversions Bears: 8-16 Gnats: 2-12
  8. Burress is one player ... And so is Shockey, and the BACK UP running back... and it only takes one player to piss off a team.
  9. I don't watch much South Park, but I am reminded of: http://southpark.org.ru/Img/sptown/citywok.jpg
  10. YAY I will never forget that 8000000000 mile blast he hit a few years back (98..99?) that was amazing. That was amazing! I've never seen a blast like that since. It was the second most amazing HR I've ever seen. The first was a Barry Bonds broken bat HR in Miami. It was the shoes!
  11. Any US team would probably outbid Hanshin, so it'll be interesting. He has expressed interest in the past so who knows. It's anybody's guess. This one is better:
  12. So, will Mark Anderson win DROY? Probably. Will he get the record for rookie sacks (11)? More than likely.
  13. Sorry, but I already chose that one... In fact, we used pretty much the same language. It is because we're really the same person. You just don't know it yet. There's a good chance, I don't seem to exist in a lot of situations.
  14. Sorry, but I already chose that one... In fact, we used pretty much the same language.
  15. Quade comes to mind. There is a good chance he is in Chicago this year under Piniella's staff, so they could be grooming him to take over later.
  16. I shall take Pitching Pitching Pitching and will notify Mr. Rawaction
  17. I'm okay with the Brewers. In fact, I pull for them.
  18. Still though, this blame it on the Cubs thing is dumb and the writer should have his press pass revoked just for typing it.
  19. http://www.detroitlions.com/photos/Bears_XBody_Defense.jpg I know its not the Great 5th Rounder, but expect this image to be duplicated (Except with the QB being 11, not).
  20. This game makes me think that this is going to be a magical year. Stuff like this just doesn't happen if it isn't.
  21. http://us.news2.yimg.com/us.yimg.com/p/ap/20061017/capt.b68613dc5a504968b28bc53ac76d5d79.bears_cardinals_football_pnu114.jpg Only the greatest rookie 5th round pick.
