I'd rather have him bat with two outs and the bases empty than a good hitter. Might as well save the good hitters til situations where they can do more damage. That's the only positive side I do see, as long as I don't see him replacing somebody on the field. DAMMIT! Izturd playing SS. Ugh. Theriot to second, so putting a glove man with a weak bat out there for a decent guy who's bat might as well be on the bench. It does however put the pitcher up sooner...

In other words, you have no legitimate response besides backhanded insults and pointless hyperbole. A) Being down 2-1 after 6 innings is not a 100-1 deficit. B) Anyone who feels otherwise, is an idiot. C) You have done nothing but indicate the game is over after a 2-1 lead. Therefore, it is overwhelmingly clear you are in fact an idiot. It really does, but thats not surprising as Camden was one of the original "new cookie cutter" styles that are becoming prevailant, but its also one of the best.

he is? His OPS in April was .923... his OPS this month is .686. The last couple of games are starting to look better. -

I'm going to say this slowly and loudly: THE CUBS DID NOT SPEND $300MIL THIS PAST OFFSEASON. THAT IS NOT HOW CONTRACTS WORK. The payroll for this year, IIRC, is hovering around $115 MIL, so while the production has still not been great, its not like we are spending Yankee money. Second, I can't really blame Hendry too much for the offense so far. We don't have Lee, ARam is only recently getting hot, and we all know Murton, and Theriot should be starting more. So while I don't agree with signing DeRosa and Floyd, so far Floyd has been productive. The bullpen on the other hand has been mishandled and not built right since forever. Giving large contracts to relievers hasn't worked once so far but yet Hendry keeps trying it. I'm sure if he keeps banging his head against that wall maybe the wall will break. Or his head will, one of the two. -
Ramirez has a dirty uniform because he's so lazy that he lies down between pitches. Between pitches? Heck, he spends entire games lying down at third.
