    thats one steep price to advertise for your team/players. i'm all for advertising w/ $15 t shirts myself. of the jerseys i do have i've only worn the z once. i would like to have more, but there is alot of better ways to spend 100 bucks.

    so we lost drew, i'm all for us getting crisp now. i imagine boston wouldnt mind moving him w/ damon, drew, and manny as everyday players.

    jerseys are way too expensive, so i only have a few ( zambrono, maddux, wood, manning, and shockey) i'd say the next jersey of currant players id get would be aram. i'd also get a lee or soriano jersey. classics that i'd love to have, grace santo sandberg + davis ( favorite player as a boy)

    i'm not sure when this was said on xm radio. but the xm ch 175 is only playing replays of this years playoffs till monday. not 100% sure they dont break in for news, but im about 95% sure anyway. sure hope its true, something to build on if we made an offer. i'd love to see zito w/ us.

    as for lee's contract: 4 year no trade clause per espn radio(xm). so he'll not be a DH for awhile anyway. as for the cubs: we need a couple pitchers, and i'm set for opening day!

    i dont think any starters will sign untill the red sox get a deal done w/ their import (i forgot his name, sorry). i would imagine barry/ jason will command higher salaries than that, and the 2nd/3rd tier starters will want contracts equal to his. if i'm right, this sucks because the dead line to bostons deadline to sign doesnt end till after the winter meetings. only thing to follow will be trade talks.

    i was at the game where bill slid into the wall/tarp. i think it was on mothers day wasnt it? i got tickets the on the sat. because wood was pitching. found my way into the doghouse for a few weeks at home too. good luck bill, you've already got a desk job w/ the dodgers, so i assume you'll be ok.

    no that are feeling are on aram mind, but do you think he could be saying all the "home town discount, 1st choice cubs" stuff just so he can leave the team looking like he was wronged? i'm not going to be able to sleep tonight. and i gotta bad feeling i'm going to be in a foul mood at work tomorrow. this is going to be a crushing lose.

    this stinks of us losing maddux the first time. nice trib. can charge 40 to set in bleachers and not pony up for the 1 or 2 batter in our lineup. no aram, no wrigley for me this season. how can you justify not signing the guy? how many more 3rd basemen are out there? i think we've already been down the nomar path before. if this team lets our 3rd baseman get away, i'll have to start agree w/ those that say the cubs are a joke.

    if the cubs loose aramis, they might just loose this cub fans money for a few years. i'm not saying he's worth 15 mil. but hes' the best we've had @ 3rd since ronny. find a way to make it work!

    we got the royals in our sight. i believe they are only 3 games behind us. who cares that the top pick doesn't always pan out. at least when this month is over we can lose dusty.

    my buddy is a braves fan, he say's the braves are going to move giles to make room for bedimint. i would take either. but giles will be getting expensive in a year or two i guess.

    i'd miss ron if he was gone but, it would be better for his health if he got away from this trian wreck. you can tell its eating him up how bad they are. he's preaching the same old story since we chocked away the wild card two years ago. how can a whole team go into a funk like this. he's never seen anything like it.     i'm one of those fella's stuck w/ tickets. going to atl in sept. (already got hotel or i'd just eat the tickets). also going to new busch sometime later this year to see the cubs. i got tickets for my dad for fathers day ( i can already hear him bitching all the way home about this piece of s--t team of ours). i just don't see how someone's head hasnt rolled yet. this team just quit after the first week w/ out Lee. if baker isnt on the chopping block, how can we still have the same coaching staff? its one of the few companies in the world that can be ran so poorly and still get to be a big ol' fat cash cow. damn this season!

    i've read the cards are offering a package that starts w/ anthony reyes. i'm really hoping thats not true. them w/ pujols and cabrera would be insane. 2 best young bats in baseball. :(

    i just read that the cubbies are getting c. lee for hill , guzman, and murton. (mlbtraderumors.com) i'm not liking the hill part. but if you sub a slightly lower pitcher i'm all for it. any substance to this or is it b.s.?
