So yesterday I had a client on the line. My company recently issued a product recall and we’re buying back everything we sold and also providing a voucher for a future order. The client was being incredibly difficult, refusing to provide an order number or even an e-mail address so I could verify he’d ever ordered with us to begin with. Just kept asking for his voucher. And he was kind of a dick. In a pique of frustration I turned to a co-worker and told her exactly what I thought about my caller in no uncertain terms. Except for the first time in my long career I forgot to hit the mute button. There’s a chance I may be unemployed soon so I’m gonna need the Cubs to be good for a while. Win, jerks.
