  1. Devin is another owner that has seconded the Adam nomination but I'm surprised there has been no other input. :-k
  2. I nominate Adam. He is always around, he's an active owner and he has shown willingness to do the job.
  3. To speed up the process of tanking on purpose? Tanking? In this league?!? 8-[
  4. You can still have an illegal roster and not have the big red letters. Those additional 3 reserve spots were created only for the purpose you are currently using it for....at least that's what I thought those reserve spots were being added for.
  5. You won't get those red letters though if you have under 22 players on your roster (which is where the current settings are). A team could have an additional 3 reserves and not get a warning.
  6. There is an option in the league setup that whenever a roster becomes illegal the system automatically awards zero points for whatever time frame the roster remains illegal. It might be something worth using.
  7. I seem to remember CBS tinkering with position eligibility during the season last year as well. I don't believe it was this far into the season though.
  8. CBS hasn't loaded today's games yet so any lineup changes are not showing yet in the live scoring section.
  9. Agreed. You can't change the schedule mid season.
  10. Starting the week with only 6 pitchers in order to avoid going over in starts.
  11. Good enough for me.
  12. Every all-star shortened week we have had to limit our starts to the amount of days in that week. I would assume this year would be the same except now it's three starts instead of four. It would be nice to get confirmation of this though.
  13. It's a three day week as far as I know. I don't think the system can be changed. I'm assuming we can then only have three starts.
  14. good move. Altuve's lack of production might have held you to a 100 point win this week. With as tight as the East Division race is I'm going to need all the points I can muster mister.
  15. Altuve has been out with a hammy this week and not due back til Sunday. Picked up Chris Nelson to replace him in the lineup.
  16. 21 dingers and he's been riding your bench? Yep... he sure has been. Felt more comfortable starting Arod, Fielder and Dunn over him. Arod has now found his way to the bench. Dunn has put up too many big weeks to sit him. Yeah, ARod looks done. Tough choices.
  17. 21 dingers and he's been riding your bench?
  18. Not really the point. Sort of the point, actually So teams can continue to do things against the rules and it's okay as long as they don't win? Got it. MR has been about the most stickliest stickler for the rules this year, i don't think he's saying that. i definitely think he should have points taken away for having an illegal roster, win or lose. however, we seem to have abandoned that "wipe out your points if your roster is illegal rule." now if he gained points from those illegal players, i think you could tell tim or whoever is the commissioner and he could take them away. but in a match up that you won against a team that doesn't appear to be in the race for a playoff spot (that could require a points scored tie breaker), it's probably not worth getting worked up over at this point. especially since i don't know that anyone has ever figured out how many illegal points he scored. now, either al or rodelo needs to add up the points earned/lost by KR on monday and get that to tim so the adjustment can be made. they have a close match up and both are in the playoff race. Adam the voice of reason?!? What the [expletive] is going in this league this year?!?!?
  19. As what sometime happens with reading anything I took your post as being sarcastic. My apologizes if I misinterpreted.
  20. Not really the point. Sort of the point, actually So teams can continue to do things against the rules and it's okay as long as they don't win? Got it.
  21. Not really the point.
  22. Good points. So then why was nothing done with Brian's points last week when I brought up the fact that he had 3 RP in his starting lineup, had 6 reserves and was making daily lineup changes?
  23. I think it's either one or the other, you either get zero points for an illegal roster or you continue to receive points for an illegal roster. I don't think you can pick or choose whether a team receives negative points on a day their roster happens to be illegal. In this case he just happened to get "lucky". I don't think there is anything wrong with CBS. I think the problem is there are too many cooks in the kitchen this season and things are all over the place. Someone needs to really take charge of this league this offseason and get the ship righted.
