i know the festivities have started, but i can't resist showing the box score of the first game i ever went to as a kid. i have to work. i want to read this entire thread and then make 700 posts to it. obviously excluding the wife/kids thing, i don't recall ever feeling like this. it's just a game, but when you see the images of folks in the streets outside of wrigley, gosh. i love this team. how much horsefeathering money am i going to spend on world series champion stamped horsefeathers? holy horsefeathering crap!!!!!!! is anyone even talking about what happened in that game? how the horsefeathers did we win? and what a way to do it! and we have these guys for the long haul! an actual honest to god working baseball organization! can't wait for my daughter to get a little older and bring her to wrigley. anybody go to the PJ shows at wrigley this year? they were selling an "all the way" t shirt that i wanted to get, but were sold out. looks like i need to horsefeathering spend $100 on ebay for one. great. this site is the best. cubs fans are the best. theo is the best. for ronnie/arne/harry/fred!! i hope you all enjoyed the moment. heck, i'm still basking in it!!!!

No big deal, just posting in the Game 7 of the World Series thread. My ears are all fucked up for having to listen to all that Chapman horsefeathers yesterday (for 20 horsefeathering pitches!) and nothing about starting for the 3rd time in 9 days. Kluber is going to have a recurring nightmare of this game for the rest of his life. DONG SHOW, PART TWO. GO CUBS! LET'S GO! COME ON!!!!!

This is the portion of the evening where I put my daughter down for bed and use the half of whatever hand is free to see what's up on the phone. Normally I'm going insane up here. I missed the slam walking up to her room but horsefeathers it boys let's finish this one and get ready for tomorrow. Maybe jake can take it all the way, he isn't pitching tomorrow...

i'm basically on edge as soon as the game starts...then i relax at the first good play we have. then if we are losing i actually WANT to be dying. The moment we have a lead I start playing count the outs and then I realize there's like 21 at least and I want the sweet release of death ditto - that's why we deserve a horsefeathering dong party tonight. less than 2 hours to go....

I was all amped and after game 1 i'm kind of a mess even though i know they threw their best guys and it's just one game of a series. being on the west coast i'm gonna end up missing a lot of this game, i hope when i get in front of the tv we are RD-ing the horsefeathers out of them. In fact, how about we just table that till Spring. it's all good anyway, if anyone can afford to have a pricey dude to come in and play the best RF for innings 7-8-9 or do some running in a pinch, it's us, w/ our collection of talent. who cares, we have 7 (horsefeathers that, 4) games to play a bunch of situational baseball. there's still a role for him to play here.
