  1. Id like to see what would happen if the catcher took some off and threw it to the pitcher instead. Would the runner be able to adjust accordingly?
  2. Johnson is absolutely terrible and Monengal is one of the least athletic RB in the league. Tough sledding.
  3. The malaise is real. I expended more emotion back in May and June. Now im just sort of resigned to the fact that we will finish with the top WC and hope to hell our LHSP reverse course and get back on track, and Tucker rounds into form. The offense is a far, far cry from what they were a couple months ago, but the postseason is a new season and anything can happen. I do believe this roster can win a World Series.
  4. Sure sounds like he will be utilized here well...
  5. Without JJ and TJ we will get smacked silly, even against DAL and OAK. They desperately need those guys.
  6. They have 3 of those already fwiw. There will be more just by the nature of the sport. But we need our defensive leaders to be on the field to have any sort of shot.
  7. I did not watch a minute of the game. I expect the team will be last in the division, likely bottom 5 in the league. The schedule is crazy, the division is impossible for a rookie HC and a 2nd year QB learning a new, supposedly most complex ever offense. It's an impossible ask, we really should not expect them to get many wins this year. They will probably get a couple because football is kooky and random horsefeathers happens a lot. Poles has been unspeakably bad. Always seeking the highest ceiling based on athletic traits, summarily dismissing merely 'solid' players, trading future picks as if hes only in need of missing pieces, etc. His approach to building the roster has been a disaster, and the same mistakes are being made every year. He's seemingly overly prideful and egotistical. Id like to know what Johnson really thinks of him, what he thought of the roster going in, where it stood, and how he felt about FA and the draft and where the roster stood at the end of camp. I cant imagine he was thrilled. If our defense is already that decimated then Johnson is going to be way over his head. We were hoping Allen could coax a competitive defense out of those guys but without Johnson and TJ I dont think any coach would have a chance with the depth behind them. Theyre going to have a lot of ugly ass games and we just have to hope Caleb and the offense start cooking at some point. If they dont, they might lose all 17.
  8. Yeah learn from it and adapt. Hopefully.
  9. How many FA RP from last offseason have been better than Thielbar and/or Keller?
  10. Anyone know Mo's sprint speed on his triple today? Lol
  11. Seiya and Busch are probably not doing much better. The Cubs are bottom 10 vs all 3 fastball types in the 2nd half. They've all been late on them. Hard contact is going to center for the most part.
  12. Damn that pitch wasnt even close and PCA gets punished for actually taking a ball.
  13. A lot of uncompetitive pitches, fall behind, have to groove one. But his stuff itself is crisp. He's not tiring. He's just not executing for whatever reason.
  14. Boyd really has to stop sucking. Good use of the batter timeout there.
  15. OTOH Bart Starr - 27 years old and 6th year in the league - won the SB Brett Favre - 27 years old and 6th year in the league - won the SB Aaron Rodgers - 27 years old and 6th year in the league - won the SB Jordan Love - turns 27 in a couple months in his 6th season and GB at least looks primed to win the division History, please dont repeat yourself
  16. I could be wrong, dont really care. But she was definitely doxxed.
  17. We can always point to some painful losses along the way but the difference in the division is that the Brewers went supernova for a long time and we didn't. Thats it. The Cubs have not lost 4 in a row all season, the worst stretches we can point to are 2 weeks where they played slightly below 500. They've had a really, really good season and in other seasons they'd be the division champ.
  18. Apparently she was called out and fired from her job as school admin
  19. Yall give too many fucks about these projections systems man
