    He absolutely should have kicked the FG and given us a 2 score lead and I hope he finds few times a year where that is acceptable. This offense is not the Lions; nowhere near the personnel yet. He shot us in the foot.

    Caleb better start using Loveland or that looks like a major waste of a pick. Might as well have just hung onto Kmet and gotten a real upgrade in the trenches.

    They swept them in 6 games and 4 times held them to 2 runs or less. To say they dont have a chance is frankly subjective and ridiculous.

    Velocity is the word of the year folks; they didnt have enough of it and they didnt do enough damage against it. Things got really bad in the 2nd half and that culminated in scoring 23 runs in 8 playoff games. Im not sure how to remedy this as it feels like 9/10 of our offense is set for next year and teams aren't really shedding big arms for us to pick up like that. Trading for Cabrera and signing Bregman would be a pretty big move in that direction but not enough. It needs to come internally, apparently. IDK.

    Maye is looking really good - 2nd in comp%, 3rd in success rate, 6th in ypg, 4th in rating, 16th in QBR. Somehow hes taken 18 sacks that have only added up to 55 yards lost. Thats wild. Other observations: Darnold is proving to be no fluke. Jones hasn't hit a wall yet. There are 13 passers with a 100+ rating and Wentz and Mahomes are each over 99. So half of the teams in the league have a QB with a 99+. Thats the new benchmark for average in today's game. Dillon Gabriel has a 100 QBR in 89 attempts. He has a 57% comp, 36% success, 81 rating. How does this make any sense?

    I think they will be a stronger team. Full year of Woodruff, Miz is disgusting, hate to admit it but he is, Made and Pena are a call away, they have an endless array of arms to replace Peralta if they deal him and depending on which direction they go, they might get another MLB ready piece for him. Patrick was really good himself.

    NGL tonight went pretty much how I expected it to. They cant handle heat. Expecting Jed to shop Taillon and Seiya. Despite the heartbreak tonight this season was a lot of fun and much needed for this fanbase and I'm pretty confident we will be in the postseason next season. But the Brewers are only going to be stronger IMO. I hate them so much. They own us and it sucks.

    horsefeathers, we've had a malady of brutal errors over time but I cant imagine the whole season abruptly ending on a play like that.
