horsefeathers man sometimes It feels like these guys would rather walk than hit. And the pitchers have a pretty good grip on when we are in take-mode. Bregman wasnt swinging until he got to 3-2. This sucks.

Alright Pete, thats ridiculous. We dont need to freaking challenge on the first AB. Too many Ks leading off the game lately. The internet is gonna have a blast with this one.

The Bregman and Gausman injuries were just a whole bag of salt dumped onto a festering wound. This season set a whole new bar with injuries. And that was a great play he made that he was hurt on too. Some horsefeathers.

So apparently Ben coaches players not to reach the ball out for the pylon/plain to avoid the disastrous touchback. I found that interesting; feels like the reward would generally outweigh the risk over a full season. Also that Case throw to Rome was pretty incredible. Perfectly placed and the anticipation was elite. Such a shame to have that result in a lowlight. Rome needs to horsefeathers get his horsefeathers together. Too talented. -

The Cubs closer for 75% of the season is coming in for some mop-up duty

98 vs the Braves we scored 4 runs in 3 games after missing the playoffs for a decade. That was brutal. 07 and 08 were littered with them. 15 and 17 NLCS had some disappearing acts. 2020 vs Marlins we scored once in 2 games. These games are the worst.

We have had some mind-numbingly limp performances in the playoffs in my lifetime but damn this one is threatening to top them all. Not a single favorable aspect to point to.

I can handle a loss; just dont embarrass us. Lets put together good ABs, pass the baton, but be aggressive in the zone. We should be able to navigate their lineup and not get totally blown up. Cubs in 3.
