  1. Hope I can go to the game in Tampa
  2. Anyone ever used this offer if you don’t have T-Mobile or Sprint? A friend of mine and his wife both have T Mobile and he offered to let me use his wife’s subscription since they don’t need two. Do you just set up an email/password to log in? They seemingly don't lock down (which is a big surprise) on account sharing. I always let my brother use my account with no problem.
  3. Thanks for alerting me and inadvertently reminding me to check the app and get the Shell discount on gas.
  4. Go to 4/90 Hed be silly to turn that down IMO
  5. Almost 35 year old Carlos Santana just signed a 2 year, 17m deal after throwing up a .699 OPS last year and garbage defense since forever. Probably conflating posters around here, but all the people who wanted Nico to slug .300 every day because our pitching staff was built around ground balls has no problem dumping Rizz to pay a revolving door of fringe DH types to Roger Dorn ground balls and picks at first for the next few years. To be totally honest I'm not sure what you're trying to say. Is 3/60 or 4/80 insulting? We're talking about a guy with chronic back issues, who's on the back-9 of his career. A 3 year extension that runs through his age 35 season feels agreeable to me.
  6. I'd stand firm at 3/60. I think he should be happy with that. Maybe 4 years. Wouldn't want to go 5 or 6.
  7. Neck spasms This team cannot win with the version of LaVine for the last 5 games. Seems like that ankle is really hampering him.
  8. Can we trade Bryant for a soft-tossing UDFA SP from last year's draft?
  9. Oh wow, a former SS showed capability at 2B! Why is that a surprise to anybody?
  10. Let's not forget that Nico had a monster spring last season as well. But he got eaten alive when the games counted. They can keep working on his swing in a low pressure environment. Im for that. Sucks not having his glove though. Apologies; he had a big spring in 2019, not last season
  11. You don't think they're eyeing that extra year by keeping him down til May?
  12. Damn, that leaves PG and big man depth as 2 areas of weakness for the Bulls. We can get by with Sato and Coby for this season and still make the playoffs I think but we'll see. I mean after the top 3 seeds it's wide open in the East. I'm an NBA idiot, but how is this team not at least playing playoff basketball? And it sounds like they'll have some cap space. Not necessarily max cap space, but that can always be engineered if the opportunity arises. Well their bigs suck and they have no PG either With last year's version of Zach they'd have about 10 wins, if that.
  13. We really shouldn't care so much about wins and losses but [expletive] these guys frequently turtle up in the 4th. Just horrible decision-making and carelessness. And how do you let Murray shoot that!
  14. Got anhilated in the 4th. Didn't get to watch but it sounds like a bad night for Billy and Lauri.
  15. Without knowing any more details than what you just said, why do you suggest that he's not gonna make it? It just sounds like he faced an annoying batter who fouled everything off but his velocity was fine. I mean outside of being a hard thrower whose arm is gonna fall off eventually like every other high-velocity pitcher. Honestly, nothing. Just talking horsefeathers.
  16. Jordan Hicks threw 22 pitches... to one batter. 10 of those pitches were 99+, eventually the guy walked. Didn't even get ball 3 until pitch 20. He's not gonna last. It's so painfully obvious.
  17. 9 in double figures is ridiculous. Really nice lines throughout the box. Even Wendell pulled a double double off the bench.
  18. 1 deplorable loss and another where we got molly-whopped in the 4th. Both against elite teams, being at home didn't matter at all. We have basically 3 players capable of scoring, nobody capable of defending, no front court. AK better sell. There's no glory getting the 8th seed and getting destroyed. Williams has played 53 minutes in these 2 games and has scored 7 points, making 2 3s and going 1/2 at the stripe, while bricking his other 8 shots, grabbed 3 rebounds, and has 2 steals and zero blocks.
  19. 3 Grizzlies starters scored in single digits, none over 20, their leading scorer had 20, and they still scored 133 points.
  20. They were straight dookie in the 2nd half
  21. I appreciate that Zach has been following up his poor shooting nights with lights out performances. 10/13 so far tonight after 9/28 last night. Right back on track.
  22. Should we have taken Haliburton? Obviously would have been a huge reach at 4 but the teams biggest need was always PG IMO. In a redraft he almost assuredly goes before Williams. Kid is 20 with a .62 eFG. Dead-eye shooter and a low TO rate as well. Would have had a major impact on our team.
  23. Good Jesus that had to take forever to make
  24. I cannot believe Grant nearly dropped 50 points
  25. Strong W
