    Our LHB [emoji23] Banging their horsefeathering heads into the wall. Through 10 games Happ, Rizzo, Joc, Heyward have combined for like a 500 OPS. 2 doubles among them. Why is it so hard for these guys to find a gap or shoot it down the line?

    Maybe we’ll get more value starting our sell off in June vs July It's really possible. I think if nothing else, the Cubs have 10 (!) guys in their walk year that depending on performance could be attractive trade chips. KB Rizzo Baez Joc Kimbrel (club option) Davies Arrieta Chafin Workman Tepera If the team is out of it, you probably want to clear the deck a bit in June or early July so you're not juggling ~5 trades the week before the deadline. Brothers has a nearly 8:1 KBB, could be interesting

    We will be rueing the day we threw Caratini into a deal we already got the short-end of if Willson doesn't wake the horsefeathers up. The guy is currently rocking a sterling 60% contact rate while barely swinging at half of the pitches in the zone. These guys are being humiliated and its appalling how slow they are to adjust.

    Ohtani is such a badass! I love this dude's oppo power. He really understands his swing so well and hammers tailing 2 seams. Then he blasted a shot 380 feet to RCF on a breaking pitch he was obviously fooled on and gave an "excuse me" swing on. Just missed a HR there.

    Musgrove just threw the first no hitter in Padres history 10:1 Thats also 31 scoreless IP for him going back to last season Vic has caught 2 no-hitters in the span of about 3 regular-season weeks

    How the hell did Javy inside-out that pitch like that. It was painted perfectly on the lower inside corner. In real time I thought it was off the plate.

    Thats kind of a huge deal. His approach changed.. I mean, he's put up fantastic numbers as the pull-heavy version, but over the last few years, it felt like he didn't even want to offer at most outside pitches unless he had 2 strikes, and then, it would be a very half-hearted swing. There is a massive gap over there that he needs to be taking advantage of a lot more often. There was clear intent and he was hunting in that area. Hope this is the start of something good this year for Bryant the oppo masher.

    White Sox threw a bone to 28 year old minor leaguer Yermin Mercedes and all he's done is start the year 8-8 with a HR. Looks like a fine DH. He's never had a below average stint at any minor league stop. He'll be fun to follow on the low.
