  1. I would option Frazier. Not sure what he's bringing to the table at this point. At least Hermasillo can fake it in CF.
  2. Bummer. Villar is an horsefeathers for not getting us 1 more Suzuki AB.
  3. Sorta. Counts, though. https://www.bleachernation.com/cubs/2022/04/19/pete-crow-armstrongs-first-pro-homer-was-a-weird-one-even-by-inside-the-park-standards/ Well damn lol PCA doubled. That's progress, too.
  4. Nah it looks like he will get another AB possibly
  5. Willy has to eventually come through with runners on, right
  6. Feeling really good about Villar getting this run in and fully ready to witness some weak ass pop up or something.
  7. When I was at the Smokies game it only came into play one time in the first inning when the Biscuits pitcher had a ball called. It didn't seem to be much of a problem for any of the pitchers, at least in that game. One thing I did notice is that if the batter stepped out of the box they shut down the pitch clock for that pitch. Are they limiting hitter step-outs?
  8. I love that we grabbed our closer after the lockout for a mere 3.5 I've always liked and wanted to acquire Robertson when he was in his prime. Really solid and you pretty much know what you can expect year to year.
  9. 4th in contact and 4th lowest swstrk% is really impressive too. And that's with Heyward whiffing way more than he usually does, sitting at a 67% contact. We currently have 4 regulars running a swstrk under 5% and then Yan has an absurdly low 2.9%. Night and day from the past 7 years.
  10. Major props for not rolling over. Keep up this intensity!
  11. Nestor Cortes struck out 12 Orioles in 5 innings. Right around 80 pitches so he's probably done, but he absolutely mowed those guys down.
  12. See if Willson gets the horsefeathering bat off his shoulder this time
  13. That's horseshit. You have to adapt and overcome. He didn't get the pitch he was looking for and went down looking like a sucker.
  14. OK the 2nd one was a little high but you looked like a horsefeathering [expletive] right there. Those were 2 good pitches and you should be able to do some damage this deep into your career with em.
  15. I would start playing 2 OF against Nico and Nick lol
  16. Effross makes hitters uncomfortable. He has potential.
  17. What a trash ass inning from Stroman.
  18. Totally understandable picking your spots with... Sam Hilliard at the plate.
