  1. I don't see #2. There's been 4 players to hit 3 HR on opening day. Tuffy Rhodes' accomplishment (and all of them off of Doc Gooden) tops Hendricks SHO pretty easily IMO.
  2. The way they do this series is just so stupid but it's MLB
  3. The Dodgers had an insane offseason but we did take the 6-game set from them last year. I am sure we will show a pulse.
  4. Kupp to the Lions is pretty terrifying. That is a nasty WR trio + an elite TE.
  5. Per Passan, Sasaki's splitter averaged just 518 RPM in his debut and IVB of -4. No splitter in the league compared in either category last year. It's a true unicorn pitch.
  6. He just needs to accept that they hate him
  7. So easy to get out of without much dead cap?
  8. Love the approach; a little skeptical of the personnel. That's a lot of money for unproven potential.
  9. Still bitter at Poles for flushing 2024 away by his indifference toward FA in 2022 and 2023. There were building blocks to be had and Caleb could have been better set up for rookie success.
  10. If PCA and Amaya have really leveled up this season is going to be a ton of fun. I got PCA pulling 20-60 and a top 10 position player war.
  11. Jokic had the 1st 30/20/20 game in history. It probably won't be his last.
  12. If I am recalling correctly, the last time the Bears were aggressive to add veteran talent on the OL like this was with Tait and Brown, exactly 20 years ago.
  13. It wouldn't surprise me. The unit was better than Caleb often made them look.
  14. Stop horsefeathers around and roll with Workman and Cowles. Both look like productive hitters in due time. They're 25 years olds with 2000+ pro PA. Don't waste your time with Brujan or Lopez.
  15. Go hogwild in trades and FA and don't rely on draft picks to produce. They have a billion dollars.
  16. Don't put it past Poles to trade-up to fufill a coach's wish. Johnson could very well be looking at Jeanty as his Gibbs, it would not surprise me. Can't wait to see cwood's reactions when Jeanty is a Bear.
  17. Almost 11 of that is dead on KC https://www.spotrac.com/nfl/player/_/id/19028/joe-thuney
  18. So do we extend him for another year or two or just rent for 2025? He's 1/16 right now.
  19. Reportedly Fernando Cruz hurt his shoulder on a headfirst slide in his first game last year and that affected him dramatically all season.
  20. Even if we take situations out, a strikeout is certainly not worse than a hitter feebly putting a ball in play on a pitch out of the zone. Who cares if they made contact and put the ball in play; it was a pitch that shouldn't have been swung at and had a negative outcome on the team. Should the player be celebrated for doing a poor job?
  21. Guy probably got nominal pay to write this article saying that Cubs fans shouldn't be surprised Tucker doesn't have a hit yet because he has also struggled in the postseason https://fansided.com/cubs-are-learning-a-kyle-tucker-lesson-that-astros-fans-know-all-too-well
  22. I know exactly who that is. What a shame.
  23. No video for PCA or Mo HR last night?
  24. I'm thinking Brant Brown too
