We were the best team in baseball in 2008 and it sure as [expletive] didn't feel like it when the playoffs were over. that is true but the playoffs are really a crapshoot ...we are the most duest one can be though ...sure would be nice to have Schwarber .

It's true regardless of how the postseason weighted crapshoot plays out. The Cubs are the best team at virtually every area of the game when is the last time the actual best team won the world series? Like last year I felt that Toronto and St Louis were the best but the Royals got it...Was SF the year before? We can take solace that if Lucy pulls away the football this year (more likely than not) we were still the best team in baseball.

i kinda want god mode jake to go on a run so he can go b2b Guess after his July I wrote him off but he definitely is in the mix but his contract price is already gonna be off the charts ...of course this organization has the money to take care of that and its not my money so spend away

I want to avoid the Dodgers mainly because I live in LA and dont want to hear anything from the "fans" out here ...As cool as it would be to see the cubs win a series in person at Doyer Stadium its equally cool to not get curb stomped because of the shirt I wear. Also dont want a 2008 scenario which with our history as a club anything is in play
