It's going to be really hard to avoid a play-in spot. 5 of the top 6 are essentially taken. If a tem like Charlotte or Boston gets hot, we're kind of doomed there.

It’s not gone. Even if they have to advance through the play-in round, the team is a 55 win team at full strength and so far none of the injuries we’ve dealt with including PWill are season ending. They are going to have to play a lot better than they did tonight but as long as they finish .500 and get everyone back, the season is still on. i'd be surprised if lonzo and caruso both are ready for the playoffs. just feels like maybe a play-in win and then we get trounced by one of the top east teams. even if lonzo/caruso come back, they'll have barely played. i wish we could get anything for vuc. what a terrible trade that ended up being.

They probably aren’t winning the championship and they’re 4 games clear of the 4/5 right now. A top 3 seed is all that really matters in terms of a first round win. That sets them up vs Cleveland, NY, Toronto, Charlotte, Washington or Boston. Don’t think there’s too big of gap in any of those teams that the 1-3 seed overly matters and getting/staying healthy is still much more important anyways. i never said the 1 seed. a top 3 seed is going to be pretty hard to get and i'd say cleveland is a step above those teams you listed

seeding is pretty important if you value a first round win over a first round loss. winning a playoff series would feel pretty good to me, even if that's all they win.

i was hoping for 3-3 in this 6 game stretch. 1-5 would seem good now, considering caruso is still out and now zach is for at least a week or 2. if ddr had a real mvp case, this 6 game strech is going to make or break it
