  1. Usually he's very insightful and even keeled when talking about the 2 teams, but he's just wrong here. That's not Ball and Glove.
  2. Lilly since April 17: 12-4 (13 after tonight), 3.60 ERA. Damn you, good numbers!! Thanks for losing the avatar Why? I've got another one in store
  3. I'm projecting this to October and frankly, I'm not looking forward to a tight game with Ted pitching to, say, Manny. He's our number 4 starter. What playoff teams have better number 4 starters? Just because Lilly gives up a lot of home runs doesn't mean he's bad. 3 runs on 3 homers is the same as 3 runs on scattered basehits.
  4. Lilly since April 17: 12-4 (13 after tonight), 3.60 ERA. Damn you, good numbers!!
  5. Haha some greedy idiot on deal or no deal just turned down like a 500,000 offer for a 50/50 shot between $1 million and $5,000. Of course, she won $5,000. Dumb dumb dumb
  6. Regardless of how this season plays out, I am going to buy the DVD of the season recap because it is that special. That would be the first DVD I have bought in 4 years, but the Cubs are so special I would buy it in a heartbeat. Where do you buy those?
  7. In my money league I picked up Edmonds for a one day spot start today. Zinggg
  8. Eh, with no outs you gotta be tagging if he catches it and he came pretty close to catching it
  9. Lilly doesn't look that sharp tonight. Hopefully he can go 6 and only give up a couple
  10. Eh, it's better than Brian Anderson (Brewers pbp) who would have been raving about it for the next 6 innings. I like Len's reactions.
  11. Has there ever been a walkoff win on the road? I'm sure there has been at some point. I was hoping the Sox would have won that suspended game today to see what it would have looked like.
  12. That would have been a triple for any player that didn't stare thinking it was a HR (I'm looking at you Soriano) That was pretty much my point. While Edmonds doesnt have the speed of a lot of our other guys, he hustles. But that still would have been a triple for prettymuch anybody other than somebody like Soriano
  13. That's a triple for anybody faster than Daryle Ward Nice job asian
  14. I kind of wanted to see what a walkoff win would have looked like on the road.
  15. He's been very effective in stealing bases since he came back though. He's really picking his spots well, and that has translated into 7 for 7 in just over a month. I could be wrong, but it seems like most of his steals have been due to bad throws by the catcher
  16. Yeah that made no sense. Walk Griffey to get to Dye AND put the winning run in scoring position? It worked out, but yikes
