  1. if i were a thunder fan i'd be worried that they barely beat the bulls without boozer, with a bad game from rose, and the officiating on their side, then barelty beat an atrocious pistons team just sayin
  2. i dont care either, and im not complaining. i'm just saying that they're going to get calls this year.
  3. even jvg, jackson & co (who were on durant/westbrook's nuts all last night) kept calling out the terrible calls from last nights game. it was embarrassing. i didn't see tonight's game, but if it was anything like the [expletive] calls they were getting against the bulls, the thunder are going to easily be a top 2 seed.
  4. i was thinking the same thing. what is the best for the nba? for durant and the thunder to emerge as the anti-heat. the "good guys". i expect them to get a ton of calls all season long. kg said it best-
  5. nick boynton doesn't deserve to wear an nhl uniform im done with this game. 6 goals to the [expletive] edmonton oilers in 2 periods. how embarrassing.
  6. what the helll is dave bolland doing out there? he has an open net and instead he circles around the net and passes it to nobody
  7. but rose scored 28 on 54 shots
  8. is this even a playoff team? the west is stacked, and the central looks ridiculously stacked 4 goals to the edmonton oilers in the first period at home. pathetttiicccc
  9. this miami crowd is PATHETIC. that place is deadddd
  10. i just read that there are a bunch of tickets available for miami's home opener against orlando on saturday night. hilarious
  11. rey ordonez wtf is this
  12. Ahh, the all-star argument. Always a sign of a person who has run out of quality arguments. And Carmelo Anthony is not a top 5 player. The original question was not about who is "gettable," but if there are even any players who can compete with the great Joakim Noah - available or not. And the fact is that almost every team has a guy who can do what Noah does. Maybe it takes a few years to get another center, but Noah is absolutely replaceable. If you don't get a bona fide star, you won't win a title. The Bulls won't get out of the second round of the playoffs for the next 5 years unless they make another big move. I am not hating on Noah. He is a good player, but the Bulls will never win a championship with the team as presently constituted because they don't have a 1A guy. Rose is close to that, but I don't think he will be in the Kobe, Pierce, Shaq, Howard, Wade, LeBron, Duncan, and Anthony league. You know who hasn't gotten out of the second round of the playoffs? Carmelo Anthony. In fact, he's only gotten out of the first round once.
  13. after the first half i thought "imb is there seeing rose dominate in person, i can't wait to hear what he says about him now" after the second half i thought "imb just saw rose go like 2-53 in the second half and go into z-bo mode launching up a bunch of contested garbage, i can't wait to see what he says about him now" btw, how audible are noah's screams in person?
  14. sarcastically agreeing with someone is not an effective counterargument
  15. or we were hating on deng for his atrocious What was the explanation in the off season after the season he had last year? people think he's overpaid? i don't know that's not the point. people in this thread were complaining about his bad game, and there's nothing wrong with that. he has a horrible game. nobody is saying deng is a bad player, even if you want to pretend we are. You're probably right. It's probably just coincidence that the criticism of Deng's bad game is prominent in this thread when half the team played a fundamentally flawed game and the biggest reasons for the loss was Rose's poor shot selection and turn overs down the stretch. oh god. deng got the most criticism because he was, by far, the worst of the starters tonight. he was awful. he was a mess. you haven't even denied that, you're just pretending like he's getting unfairlly criticized. it's obvious that YOU were the one waiting for deng's first bad game so you could bash the people bashing him. you were alllllll ready for it and this is your chance to pretend like he's being unfairly criticized.
  16. That's exactly why you trade for Carmelo. You can always find a guy pretty similar to Noah. Rose is great, but he isn't the guy on a championship team. Huh? Name 5 players that are over 6'11'' can give you 10/12 consistently every night, have a relentless motor and bring it every single night. I would think there are many more players who can score and create a shot than there are players of Noah's style of play. I looked at the TV and found a guy in 2 seconds. Chris Kaman. And Dwight Howard, Brook Lopez... Oh yea, because those guys are so easily gettable, right? And comparing Chris Kaman to Joakim Noah is a joke. You said, "you can always find someone who is similar to Noah. Ok, so give us one guy similar to Noah that we'd have a realistic shot at getting if we traded for Melo. Just give us one. Ahh, the all-star argument. Always a sign of a person who has run out of quality arguments. And Carmelo Anthony is not a top 5 player.

  19. what happened to hossa? i just turned it on omg sharp
  20. amazing that the bulls stayed in that game until late when you consider that a) we had no boozer b) the refs were a complete joke c) rose did not have a good game really taj and noah were the oonly ones who played well. korver, brewer, and deng were comical.
  21. noah and gibson were the only ones to show up tonight. korver, brewers, and degn were embarrassingly bad. rose was outstanding in the first half but ruined it with an atrocious second half where he just kept tossing up awful shots.
  22. the atmosphere in that cleveland building is amazing.
  23. bulls would be up by 5 or more if the refs were being fair. ridiculous. what was that, 25 free throws for the thunder? meanwhile the bulls get raked and get nothing. apparently jeff green is d wade
  24. announcers have been talking about the heat for 10 minutes.
